Your not to smart. Every year it’s the same thing. Smith has no threat down field therefore teams stack the line. Smith runs out of bounds on 3rd down short of the first all the time. If you have Westbrook and gore and can’t complete a dump pass in the the flat for first down. How many 3rd down conversions does he have? 3 and out 3 and out all day then blame the defense. Joke excuses. After 7 years the guy should have more TDs than ints but 22 ints and 20 tds. Tell me that’s the OL or receivers or defense. Crap crap crap is all I hear. Keep dreaming.

I agree with djax on the Johnson contract. Who gives a guy that flashed for one year (a contract year at that) that much money? They must be 30 million under the cap or something. Like the commercial says, “Rosenhaus strikes again.”

actually they were still 30 million under the cap AFTER they signed Johnson to that contract.

Too much money that has to be spent to make minimums and too little talent has inflated the market as predicted. However the Redskins have made their splash and the Panthers as well. The real market perhaps can now settle down to more reality.

It only takes two teams that want a player (often one is last year’s team) to bid the contract up to ridiculous. Welcome to the new CBA.

Draft picks are a last priority right now for teams as they have a 5-7 window to address their own free agent signings, or bid on other unrestricted free agents to fill their needs. Teams already own rights to draft picks so they’ll be a final priority…
