I live in Hudson, WI. I’m a Vikes fan surrounded by Packer fans.

I can tell you this….Most Packer fans would rather see the Vikes lose more than they would a Pack win. It’s sad but true.

==========================
I live in la Crosse and it's the same way there.

It's not just one part of the state.

The Packers have the worst fanbaase in all of pro sports.
They run their mouths at opposing stadiums, then wonder why their cars get vandalized or they get the crap kicked out of them.

Packer fans, when it comes to football Knowledge, they sure know their brats and curds.

Those Wisconsin people have so much spite built up, and I’m not sure why. Geez guys, you won the superbowl, enough with the Vikes already.”

I’m pretty sure Packer fans love watching their team win then seeing the Vikings lose. Just because some of them like seeing the Vikings lose more where you live doesn’t mean all Packer fans are.

And don’t go on acting like Viking fans don’t take more pride in watching the Packers lose either. I’m pretty sure that is the case for a lot of them.
------------

Hate to break it to you and argue all you want but the Vikings fans are only interested in seeing their own team win. About the only time we care about the Packers losing is when it comes to who is in and who is out in the playoffs.

Watch out for Andre Holmes, a UFA from Hillsdale signed by the Vikings. Good size and speed and a great time in the 3-cone drill. If any of you watched the St Cloud State playoff game last year, that was Holmes tearing it up against them. Big jump in competition, but expect to hear from him this year.

Come on guys.....don't tell me you are as stupid as Paul Hargis. The reason you have Packer fans blasting Viking moves is because you belong to a "border rivalry". Are you serious? You don't understand why Packer fans hate the Vikings and Viking fans hate the Packers? You know how many of my Viking fan friends simply detest the Pack? They really don't give a sh!t about the Saints or the Colts or the Chargers......but they hate the Packers. It's called a rivalry you nitwits.

Just because you're Viking fans doesn't mean you always have to act stupid. Come on guys....figure it out.

Here is a classic example of two fanbases – Vikings sign Remi Ayodele from the Saints and that story does not have one bad remark coming from a Saints fan. This board though has every single Packer fan on this site coming out of the woodwork to spew trash over a guy that has NOT been signed by the Vikings. Clearly, the Packer fans on this site have a huge inferiority complex whereas the Saints appear to be just fine. Hilarious!
---------------------------------------

Did you expect less? There are Packer fans on the Ayodele thread bashing that move. It's what some of them do. I bet they would be calling Nnamdi worthless if the Vikings signed him. For that matter, if the Packers traded Rodgers to the Vikings, they would claim that Flynn was better anyway.

Jones is a good sign by the Queens if they pull it off. He was inconsistent for the Pack, but at times he seemed to have the talent of a #1 guy. Won't matter though......this team is destined for 5-6 wins at the most this year.

LOL!

Do you guys remember all the whining we put up with when we made a joke about Vikings going after Packer players?
Then the cryqueen fans would get mad or act surprised we would mention such a thing.

Just can’t leave our scraps alone.
———
You know whats funny LOL-guy, its the fact that if one of your players goes off to another team you guys immediately congratulate the other team on what a ‘prize’ they just signed simply because he is a Packer. However, when the Vikings sign a Packer that same player immediately goes from ‘prize’ to ‘scraps’ from the Packer organization. Unbelievable!

Correction - NONE of you are owners. You own nothing related to that organization. You have no voting rights, you have no stake, you have nothing. What you own is a glorified "receipt" saying you donated something to an organization. Similar to a donation receipt from Goodwill. Do I go around saying I own a piece of Goodwill because I donated a few boxes of clothes? No. You are just a fan who donated money to a team who made you feel better about it by calling you an 'owner'. That is all.

But, if I recall correctly, the 3 biggest stars for the Packers in SB31 were Desmond Howard, Reggie White and Brett Favre. And weren't they all drafted by other teams and acquired by the Packers via free agency or a trade? So, tell me, idiot Packer fans, why shouldn't the Vikings or another team sign a former Packer if they believe that he will help the team?

If Jones goes to another team and is their #1 the thing to watch is to see how he deals with always being covered by the other team's #1 CB.

At GB he was anything from #4 to #2 on the field and didn't command the #1 defensive talent of the opposition. He's already shown focus issues (dropped passes are a focus thing not ability thing with him. He catches the impossible and drops the easiest).

Will also be interesting to see how he deals with a QB who isn't Aaron Rodgers accurate. He's one of the most accurate passers in the league - going to someone else (McNabb) is going to require more heroics on his part.

Good luck but don't be surprised if he doesn't return what you think he will.

Contra,
If you don’t like hearing about Los Angeles have your team sign a lease for next season.

If you don’t like hearing about poor quarterback play have your team stop picking them up off the NFL scrapheap.

If you don’t like hearing about substance abuse tell your rntire defensive line not to get caught taking steroids, violating the steroids policy, and getting multiple DUI’s.

If you don’t like hearing about low attendance and near blackouts, have your team sell some tickets. Attendance at the final viking home game last year was 40,504.

If you don’t like hearing about players getting arrested have them not act criminally.

If you don’t like hearing about no trophies, then have your team earn something to put in it.

If you don’t like hearing about stadium collapses, shovel some snow.

If you don’t like getting laughed at for free agent signings. Don’t offer 42 million to Bernard Berrian and 33 million to Madieu Williams.

If you don’t want to hear about low revenue teams and NFL welfare programs have your team earn some money not 20 million in supplemental revenue sharing.

There is no place for insults from you. We are just talking NFL football here.

If you are embarrassed by your football team, go elsewhere and talk about your basketball team, or your college football team.
------------------
I have just as much control over 95% of what you posted just as you personally have won 4 lombardis and they are sitting in your living room right now. I cant control any of Vikings situation unless I am a (a) player, (b) owner, or (c) front office. Similar to how you claim to have won super bowls but you didnt. James Jones is a beast. He makes some amazing acrobatic catches, I’ll be sorry to see him go. The only knock on him really is that he seems to always drop the easy passes that hit him right in stride. So, he’s probably a pretty good match for the vikes, because I doubt he’ll be seeing a lot of those…

If you don't like hearing about poor quarterback play have your team stop picking them up off the NFL scrapheap.

If you don't like hearing about substance abuse tell your rntire defensive line not to get caught taking steroids, violating the steroids policy, and getting multiple DUI's.

If you don't like hearing about low attendance and near blackouts, have your team sell some tickets. Attendance at the final viking home game last year was 40,504.

If you don't like hearing about players getting arrested have them not act criminally.

If you don't like hearing about no trophies, then have your team earn something to put in it.

If you don't like hearing about stadium collapses, shovel some snow.

If you don't like getting laughed at for free agent signings. Don't offer 42 million to Bernard Berrian and 33 million to Madieu Williams.
