You might wanna do a little more research. The last time I checked, the Eagles and the Patriots were the teams that were always talked about as cap kings, not the 32 greatest market in the NFL, GB Packers.

Just like the Phillies, the Eagles are trying to buy a title. I’ve been a lifelong Eagle hater and if Vick and Djax didn’t make it easy to hate them this certainly does. It’s gonna be that much sweeter when they fail to win a Super Bowl(AGAIN) after trying to stack the deck. Meanwhile my Steelers continue to draft players, develop them, and keep them. Can you remember the last time they paid for a big FA? 6 titles in PA Eagles fans. Thanks for your contribution. Bwahahahahahahaha

What do you consider objective? Facts?

Very well. The Eagles have beaten the Giants in SIX STRAIGHT GAMES . It could be seven, if you include the playoffs. That’s not luck, nor a trend. That’s dominance.

Going into the last game the two teams played, the Giants won three straight and allowed a total of 10 pts in the last two games of that winning streak.

The Giants (as we all know) had the lead in the 4th quarter in both contests last year and end up losing both games, the second one in absolutely spectacular fashion. As you babble on about turnovers, there wasn’t a SINGLE turnover committed by the Giants in the fourth quarter, where they allowed 21 pts in the final 8:17 (or do you need to be reminded of that…..I think you do…)

In fact, the only turnover committed in that quarter was by the EAGLES, which lead to the Giants final points of the day (see, turnovers work both ways, Slappy)

Turnovers are a part of the game, Winky. It’s the single most variable factor in determining wins and losses. Either teams are committing them or forcing them (that’s why they are measured in a RATIO….see…I knew you could follow along)

These signings only reinforce the fact of which the rest of the division already knows: They are already the defending division champions and have added FOUR Pro Bowl players on defense. FOUR.

Please save your diatribes for someone who actually can stand you. The Giants have made it clear that they are not only talent deficient, but mentally deficient as well, to beat the Eagles.

You must be a youngster…when The Niners couldn’t get past Cowboys and Packers in playoffs (early 90′s)…they received the services of one Deion Sanders and won the Super Bowl THE next year. So yeah…a CB can make all the difference.

The plain and simple fact is, as long as the Giants are healthy and knowing that the anomaly that was last year’s turnover number will not happen again — that it is their division to lose. I haven’t seen 7 objective posts about how these signings affect the NFC East race, just a bunch of blind homers.

I spoke the truth and it’s blowin’ yours. Tough duty, but better to have the reality now than in December.

And to this self-righteous prick above me, if it bothers you that much, go enter a thumb wrestling competition with your wife, since the “we” usage bothers you here.

This delusion of participation, or the idea that you somehow have something to do with what happens with team that you root for, is completely exclusive to team sports.

Think about the other things you are a fan of. Do you ever say after watching an episode of your favorite TV show, “boy, WE sure did put together a great program tonight!”?

Do me a favor, Mr. (or Ms.) “We”. Drive up to the facilities of the team you root for and try to get in the front door. Wear your jersey. See how far you get.

Not a fan of either team, but a Cowboys fan accusing any other team of trying to buy a championship is the classic case of the pot not knowing what color it is.

Sorry but until the Eagles actually prove they are the the team to beat, the Packers are the best team in the NFC.
