Packers let go of Brandon Chillar

The Packers have dumped another inside linebacker.

Days after informing Nick Barnett he will be let go, the team has decided to cut Brandon Chillar according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The move isn’t a total shock, but Silverstein says it raises “questions about whether the league is being unfair to players who were injured while training during the lockout.”

Chillar is apparently coming off a severely pulled hamstring suffered in a personal workout. It reminds us of the Tully Banta-Cain cut in New England; he aggravated a previous injury on his own.
