Three years ago, the Rams signed Jacob Bell to a six-year, $36 million contract. Tomorrow, he’ll be a free agent again.
Per a league source, the Rams will release Bell following an inability to restructure Bell’s contract, which carries a base salary of $6 million in 2011.
Bell spent four years in Tennessee before signing with the Rams. He started every game last year at guard.

Interesting guy…
Bradford will just go 1 on 53 every Sunday.
WHO IS JACOB BELL AMIRITE?
Browns need O line help.
We should hold a special day every year to congratulate players like Jacob Bell and anyone else lucky enough to be released from the St. Louis Rams.
Seriously, who is Jacob Bell?
Sounds like another chance for the Eagles to swoop in.
Does anyone that wasn’t a Rams fan know who this guy was?
I could of sworn I seen this guy…. nope, no idea who he is.
what position does he play
Jacob Bell is a OG that spent most of his in-season Sundays being driven into the Rams backfield by mediocre DT’s. Have at him Bears
Dude’s got more chin’s than a Hong Kong phone book
What happened to owners and teams holding their commitment to players…(Cincy) And u wonder why players try to get what they can get and hold out..
This guy will come to Cleveland! Cleveland born and raised! He went to my high school!
NOOOOOOO not Jake. 7 years and I’ve never heard of him.
It’s a fat, albino, Marion Barber..
Didn’t want to take a paycut…cya. Same thing happened w/ Chris Draft last year (or the year before can’t remember).

wow, arent you a comedian? Maybe if you followed football you might know the Ram’s are on their way back but apparantly your still looking at 2009 records
Perfect for the Lions . They need to bolster there o-line
Bell is the OL version of Haynesworth – horrible FA pickup by the Rams, who stood around looking at the play (or laid on his back looking up) instead of blocking someone. He might get another job, but buyer beware.

Actually I took time and compiled my information using their records from 2009 and 2010.
I also used 2002 through 2008.
will be telling if the Titans show any interest in him, given that Munchak was his position coach and the team could use a vet interior player to at least push one of the 3 starters…
Jacob Bell sucked as soon as he got his payday he mailed it in

Wow, how intelligent to start in 2002 right aftter their 2 SuperBowl appearances and you kindly forget the playoffs in 04′. You must be a loser 49er fan. Typical
I suggest some of you actually watch some film on Bell before wishing your team signs him. He’s pathetic and being pushed out by more talented players.
I’ll tell you guys who this man is!
He’s a GD millionaire, 36mil in the bank goodlord have mercy!
