APThe New York Jets have formalized a variety of reported and expected moves.
Moments ago, the team announced that the following veterans have signed contracts: receiver Santonio Holmes (pictured),tackle Wayne Hunter, safety Eric Smith, and offensive lineman Rob Turner.
The Jets also have signed two of their draft picks: first-rounder (and Armando Salguero’s favorite rookie) Muhammad Wilkerson and fifth-rounder Jeremy Kerley.

The contract only was completed after Rex got a pair of Wilkerson & Kerley’s socks for “further evaluating”.
They also announced a deal with Payless, as the official team shoe store, as rex has been known to frequent the aisles for hours……..
Why salguero’s fav rookie? Why so serious?
Not the big splash the jest fans where looking for.

Ha ha… it’s funny cuz Rex has a foot fetish…
….and veteran cornerback CB Nnamdi Asomugha.
oh wait….nevermind.
Fire Tannenbaum already. How many times do we gotta watch him get played by agents?
Free Agency Grade. . . Jets – D (only cause you kept Holmes). . . EAGLES- A+++ (HAHAHA LONG LIVE ASOMUGHA)
Atleast you can still sign Brad Smith , wait He left while Asomugha held your team hostage ?? OUCH. !!
sooogone – you’re an idiot…plain and simple. Not trying to be rude, I’m just calling it like I see it. You are clearly not a Jets fan and do not follow them. Tanny has put together a team that has come within a few plays of the super bowl in consecutive seasons.
I, luckily, was experiencing the vast, amazing, internetless/receptionless, natural beauty of NY’s own Lake George, and as such I was not a participant in the Nnamdi hysteria, and I really don’t see why it’s such a big deal that we didn’t get him. We have Revis, who is better, and Kyle Wilson (and that’s if we don’t bring back Cro, which I hope we don’t) still developing, and Nnamdi is vastly overrated. He covers a #2 most of the time. He’s still incredibly talented, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean to take anything from his game, it’s very impressive in any case, but Revis is a better corner.
What I DO have an issue with is the Jets making no attempt to re-sign Braylon, while losing players waiting on Nnamdi. There’s plenty of time for stuff to happen, but as of right now Tanny screwed the pooch on that one.
Also, huuurrrrrrp derrrrrrrrp feet durrrrrr
remember all those articles saying how every free agent wants to play for Rex? yeah.
How about these roster moves:
Cromartie remembers the names of his 10 children
Sanchez dates a girl over 17 years old
Rex Ryan stops acting like a bafoon foot freak
Bart Scott recognizes that wrestling is fake
All Jet fans act mature and reasonable
@drgfri: Sadly, those moves are as likely as signing Nnamdi.
@nyjalleffingday u should have stayed on vacation cus now we gotta hear eagle fans predict a super bowl again
Seripisly, how many fans of other teams needed to buy new Underoos because they soiled all the ones they own reading the PFT articles on the Nnamdi To Jets watch. And Tunescribe, I guess when you can’t knock the way a team plays on the field you need to start attacking them as people. Its the high school cheerleader mentality coming out.
Aso and Cro have the same agent. Aso made the Jets wait so long, all other top-tier CB FA’s were off the board. So now Aso AND Cro will get overpaid. That’s the latest example of how Tannenbaum gets played.
Prediction: Jets go 9-7 this yr, and miss the playoffs. (Look at their point differential from last yr, they weren’t that good of a team. They just happened to win playoff games.)

last year you had them at 6-10. so i guess this qualifies as a super bowl prediction!
@monroepoobah
Lmfao, I’ve seen that exact same prediction for 2 years running now. The Jets are here to stay. Deal with it.
