Getty ImagesThe Colts continue to bolster their quarterback depth chart with Peyton Manning currently unsigned and recovering from injury.
Dan Orlovsky is headed to Indianapolis Saturday to sign with the Colts, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
Orlovsky was let go by the Texans on Friday following Matt Leinart’s new contract, but he’s an upgrade from Indy’s backup Curtis Painter. The Colts also agreed with Nate Davis on a two-year deal early in free agency.

Are the Colt’s really just gonna pay this guy for an inside look into the HIGH POWERED TEXANS OFFENSE???
I’m not so sure ol’ “step out of the endzone” Orlovsky is an upgrade from Sorgi, but I guess if Manning goes down, the Colts are screwed either way.
Traitor!
Painter has not showed much thus far. Orlovsky certainly could be an upgrade as long he knows the boundaries.
Frogman, keep up, Sorgi plays for the Giants!
I think it’s funny he ends up there…
His first or second year in the league, a few of his Detroit teammates actually pulled a prank on him; convincing him he had been traded to Indianapolis.
He went as far as packing his locker up.
Lol, thank God football’s back.
You have to have some great pro scouting and management going on there to Find Orlovsky!!!
LMAO.

Traitor!
==========
Awesome.
A team dumps you on your a** in the street, and you’re STILL a traitor if you find a job with a rival?
Gotta love fanboy.
Unless you were just kidding, in which case my bad.
I’m surprised the image in this article wasn’t his defining moment in Detriot.
The Colts plan to use police Do NOT PASS tape at the back of the endzones when Dan plays.
The original post had Sorgi listed as Indy’s backup, and I fell for it! My bad…
