As a lifelong Bengals fan I am abundantly aware of the woes of my team and their past seasons riddled with heartaches and lack of achievement. Thanks for another sarcastic laced reminder.

It may come as a surprise to you, but even the most casual of NFL fans are also aware of my team’s shortcomings. Therefore, I humbly submit to you the following idea: your repetitious belittlement of the Bengals and your regurgitation of embarrassing moments (see Andre Smith photo used for 2nd time in as many months) is a poor substitute for real sports journalism and is essentially laziness on your part to do a decent job reporting on an otherwise exciting and interesting sport.

If a sports writer’s words constituted a physique , you would be less fit than Andre Smith was at his worst blubbery moment.

He went through the process of negotiating and signing a contract, then gained a whole lot of weight really fast, flew to Cincy to take fail a physical, flew back to Arizona, negotiated and signed a contract (probably for less money), and now will go on a crash diet and exercise program all for a laugh.

Yes, now that you explain it, I am sure that is exactly what happened.

It just shows a lack of off-season dedication when you show up to a physical 60-70 pounds overweight and that is why the Cards have had issues with him. Everyone is Cincinnati knows the real problem. An owner who won’t hire a G.M., won’t pay for an indoor practice facility, won’t assemble and pay for a real scouting staff, and who won’t spend the $120 million that every other team is trying to stay under.

When the Bengals lose the Steelers benefit, but I really do feel bad for the loyal fans… I seriously hope, somehow, you guys can lose your owner.
