Getty ImagesBrowns G.M. Tom Heckert was asked Monday where defensive tackle Brodick Bunkley was, since he wasn’t in Brown camp. We now know where he’s headed: Denver.
Two days after Bunkley was officially traded to the Browns, he was traded again. By the Eagles. Again.
The Eagles will get an undisclosed 2013 draft pick from Denver. They were set to get a 2012 fifth-round pick from Cleveland.
It’s odd because the original move was official, moving over the league’s transaction wire. Apparently it was canceled after Bunkley’s no show, and now the Eagles just dumped Bunkley for anything they could.

Wow. Bunkley never lived up to his potential with the Eagles.
let this be a lesson to anyone naming their kids after the cat that played Ferris Bueller
Excellent move by Denver who needs Defensive Tackles in the worst way.
I would laugh if it’s a 5th rounder or higher. That’s what than the skins got for Fat Albert.
What a loser mentality.
When the going gets tough…pout. No wonder the guy is considered a bust.
This guy was a stud at FSU and just a total dud I’m Philly. Strange.
another failed early round pick on a DT that the eagles screwed up.. Patterson.. Laws.. etc.. Eagles disapoint me every draft day.. (ok besides the recent WRs) .. sure wish we took Tamba Hali instead
Bummer. I think. I thought he was going to be a solid pickup for the Browns. Guess it’s not in the cards. Hopefully Phil Taylor signs and gets into camp in the next day or two. Switching to a 4-3 is going to be hard enough without losing interior linemen to failed trades and rookie holdouts!
That stinks! Shouldn’t the Browns get some kind of compensation for that?

Along with that ridiculously fat contract….

why should the browns get compensation? they didn’t lose anything. eagles are the ones losing out here by getting a lesser pick.

How do you know that they are getting a lesser pick? It says “the eagles get an undisclosed draft pick in 2013″. That could be anything from a 1st round pick (unlikely) to a 7th round.
Denver gets some help at DT. I think Fox will make Buckley live up to some of his potential. Denver lucks out big time.
Am I the only one who thinks the surprising part of this story is that two teams were interested in him :/
Oh Eagles… can’t do anything right unless you do it ass-backwards!
You can trade me to Cleveland all you want but I ain’t goin’. haha, nice move Bunkley
So now players of Bunkley’s caliber can choose where they want to get traded to? This guy should get released and not signed by anyone.
Feel the love?
Good job Eagles, you got him to a team that will be worse than the Browns. Later Double B, you were a huge waste of a pick.
Guess Greenway, Ryans or Williams would have been better options.
I bet he doesn’t show up in Denver either. It’s not like they are contenders, either. Unless he has a preference of crappy, rebuilding teams…
And, the browns should get some compensation, as they spent the last 4 days not signing a D-lineman because they thought they had one.
those rebuiding teams will be on top in a few years. remember that!!!!
If you go by the Cleveland media all the anti-Bunkley comments have jumped the gun. They are saying he did report to the Browns on Saturday and Cleveland was the one to cancel the trade after he didn’t pass their physical.
Yes they will broncs an 72. And Tim Tebow will pull a John Elway and beat the Browns in the AFC championship. You watch.
Broderick Bunkley reported to the Browns on Saturday, but the team had some medical concerns, a source said. He was then traded to Denver.
Bunkley did make it to Cleveland but he did not pass a medical exam and was sent packing. The Browns organization is a little PO’d by the whole thing as they are blaming Philly for jumping the gun on the trade announcement.

Ordinarily I would agree with you. But I am a Broncos fan and we desperately need DTs. So….sorry, Cleveland.
