wamj2008, yeah because i’m so scared of an unproven rookie receiver and a 36 year old receiver who can be covered by Joselio Hanson at this point in his career. BTW that playoff game, Driver was your top receiver with 56 yards. You didn’t have Finley, but somehow i think we’ll manage with these 2 new CBs.

I’m tired of hearing how great the Packers are. Sure, they beat the Eagles twice last year, but both games were very close and the Eagles almost pulled out both of them at the end. I’m not worried about the Packers. If the Eagles play up to their talent, they can win.

Yeah, because the 21 points those guys put up on our “terrible D” last year was so overwhelming. The Packers are just like any other great team, if you don’t have a pass rush to get to Rodgers, you’re in trouble. Period. End of story.

Other players his age (and younger) are getting their 2nd contracts already. I don’t know why the Eagles think he’s so good that he’s going to step right in and be a starter, but I don’t blame them for not giving him more than 3 guaranteed years.

The good thing for the Eagles is they play Rams the first week and the rams dont have the greatest pass rush int he world so the Eagles line should get at least one real game against weaker competition.

I think this kid will be good, not great but good. I still would have rather had a pouncey but this “man” will do. To bad for him that he will 31 when this deal is up but i think if he plays well given his situation the Eagles will be ok with giving him a bigger deal sooner. The great part though is how much he is being paid. Remember the days when this pick in the draft would cost more than this in bonus alone.

Now we just need to sign Ryan Harris to play RT and were ready to go. Oh yeah and that Djax contract but thats up to him to come to camp the eagles don’t deal with holdouts. If he comes in they sit right down with him. Jus come in Djax
