APAfter enduring the 2010 NFL season with the Panthers, linebacker Hilee Taylor was waived early in camp. The Lions made a claim for his contract, and his contract was awarded to the Lions.
Only problem? Taylor hasn’t shown up in Detroit.
As a result, the Lions have placed Taylor on the reserve/did not report list.
Given that players under contract are subject to daily fines of $30,000, it’s safe to say that Taylor isn’t inclined to ever show up.
A seventh-round pick in 2008, Taylor played in 16 career games for the Panthers.

Panther fans will also be surprised to learn they once had a player named Hilee Taylor.
Does it count if it takes a team 3 days to notice that you didn’t show up?
he had to give Home Depot his two weeks
Who?
He is What he is
Odd…. given the rest of the Lions LBs, he was likely to be a starter….
you know detroit is bad when he would rather stay in carolina and keep his job stocking cans of tomato soup at piggly wiggly.
Last time I checked, the Lions have one of the better linebacking cores in the league. But lets not let pesky facts get in the way.
How did this Monumentous acquisition ever get past the headlines of PFT???
Did someone just knock the linebacking core? Thin behind the starters, but Tulloch, Levy, and Durant are at the very least an average linebacker group… take a shot at the Lions corners all you want, but not the LBs…
