Free agent defensive end Jacob Ford is staying in Tennessee.
Ford has spent his entire three-year NFL career with the Titans and has recorded 15.5 sacks. Terry McCormick of TitanInsider reports that Ford and the Titans are believed to have agreed on a one-year contract.
With Ford in the fold along with Derrick Morgan, William Hayes and Jason Jones, the Titans like the depth they’re putting together at defensive end. They may add more depth, with free agents Dave Ball and Jamaal Anderson also under consideration.
Ford joined the Titans as a sixth-round draft pick out of Central Arkansas in 2007.
