As a Bears fan, I do wish him well. I can tell you that in his prime, he was an absolute beast.

Even with Urlacher and Briggs behind him, the Bears relied on Tommie Harris so much and he delivered.

Unfortunately, his body didn’t.

He showed signs of potential in the final games of the ’09 season. Than when we signed Peppers, I thought he would return to his original form. He had 1.5 sacks last year and lost his starting position.

Nonetheless, I do wish him well.

he will be lucky to make it thru camp with injuring something. he was a beast until he injured his knee and has been worthless since he signed his big contract with the bears. if hr had anything left he would still be with the bears.

In the past six regular seasons (which id the period the others are talking about) 3 of the games have been in Indianapolis and 3 have been in New England.

Good pickup by the Colts. What everyone seems to forget is Manning gets to the playoffs with horrible run defenses. The Colts are going a little bigger on defense now. Manning only needs a run defense thats ranked average in the league. Right now their D-line on paper is the best its been since 2005. They were 10-6 last year and the year before they went 14-2 with horrid players on defense, some of these guys were smurfs. Atleast now you can say there’s average to good talent on defense besides Freeney and Mathis.

I still think they need to add OT,Veteren WR, and a safety. I don’t believe their entire line can stay healty, nor their receiving core neither.

Tommie Harris. Ever since his thigh muscle rolled up like a window shade, he’s been a shadow of his former self, and his former self was no great shakes. Offsides a lot, and ran his mouth. Not being a good teammate kind of sealed the deal. His getting cut was a couple of years overdue. That said, good luck to him in Indianapolis.

I think the tides may be changing back to the Pats again. Almost all of the games between the two teams over the past 5 years or so have been in Indianapolis. Not sure why the schedulers did this, but now it’s going back the other way and the Colts are going to have to endure multiple years worth of games in Foxboro. I think last years game was the 1st time we had the Colts in Foxboro in quite a few years.

I also think Manning is at the onset of decline. I’m afraid his neck will be an ongoing issue and ultimately lead to his retirement. I don’t say this with any kind of foolish glee as a Pats fan. I say it with a somewhat reluctant resignation as somebody who loved and thoroughly enjoyed the whole Brady/Manning/Pats/Colts rivalry and can see it possibly coming to an end sooner than we’d all like. What a great ride it has been. (I hope I’m wrong about Manning’s neck)

This is a great pick up. I’m pumped! Harris may be getting old, but he is still a solid player. Definitely an upgrade from most of our “DT” options.

Colts have had a rough offseason in shopping for FA’s. They are one injury away on the OL, or DB’s of being an 8-8 team. Stacking the D-Line with ‘once’ promising stars won’t get it done. Titans, Jags and Jax are all going to run the ball 4o times per game, and these pass rushed won’t make a difference…

Tommie harris and speed will never be used in the same sentence again.

Loved him with the bears but the guy has nothing left. Teams said he had the body of a 35 year old coming out of the draft. Must be a 42 year old now.
