If he considers “killing the QB” as sitting with his face masked planted in the ground for 15 seconds during the Eagles Monday night game then pray for all opposing QB’s. Warren Sapp said it best. “If you got 20 total sacks in last 8 years that’s 2.5 sacks a year. How can you say your dominate? Thank you Belichek…..THankYou…..we owe you a debt of gratitude!

I don’t doubt all the anti Haynesworth comments are true. To this point Albert has been a bad guy EVERYWHERE he’s been.

HOWEVER he knows he’s on a short leash. If he doesn’t measure up over the next 5 weeks, he’ll be gone with no cap cost for the Pats. On the other hand, this is the perfect time for the Pats to the the maximum out of Haynesworth….for at least this season.

It’s likely that he’ll be the impact player that the Pats hopes he will be. However I don’t want them to extend him past this season. THAT would be TOO risky.

Indeed I did see that. I’ll tell you what – if he pulls that stuff here in New England, BB will cut ties…without remorse. There have been quite a few players that exited the NFL last under his watch. I think front offices around the league pay some attention to that. Adalius Thomas is one that comes to mind.

He comes off sounding genuine at times be he did the exact same thing in DC. All I’m saying is don’t bank on him to act on his words. He could very well play great this season and me and pretty much any skins fan wouldn’t care because he actually played pretty good his first season with us too. It’s one thing to be motivated by change or chips on your shoulder or any type of outside influence but it’s another thing to keep a high level of play when things become stagnant.

Hopefully patriot fans get at least one good year out of him. He is a beast when motivated so as a fan of football in general I will still enjoy seeing the things a player like him can do. All in all though I am still glad we flushed the turd.

A fair take from a Wash fan, thank you. I wasn’t aware that he talked all nice when he went to your team. I am not a fan of this move so I will be watching if his words match his play extra carefully.

Rappaport mentioned something weird: that Haynesworth is actually a Pats fan from a ways back. He went to one of their playoff games courtesy of Rodney Harrison. I know he talked nice about the Pats when they played in the preseason a couple years back too. Might not mean anything but it’s interesting.

He’s going to try to redeem himself this year and he knows if he turns into an idiot this year it will mean the end of the road and his permanently etched legacy will be that of a complete and total POS. He knows this and he knows he doesn’t want that legacy. It’s a redemptive time/season for him right now. Because of this, I think he’ll be throwing offensive guards around like rag dolls and I’m predicting some seriously crushed QBs as well (probably followed by 15 yard penalties and fines…LOL). But it will be great fun to watch the “Redemption Beast” on his mission of atonement. Release the Beast!!! LOL. I absolutely LOVE the orchestrated violence of football. It makes me feel in a way like the ancient Romans cheering down at the Gladiators in the Coliseum as the spectacle of blood and violence unfurls. Let the games begin!

No one is saying this isn’t a low risk – high reward situation for the Pats. It’s a no brainer…..you give up a 5th rounder for a guy that potentially one of the best defensive lineman in football. You know the caveat. You might get one good year out of him….my money is on the fact he’s been lazy so long….he’ll be cut. But you never know. Hail!!

It must be tough for some of you to understand. Albert is a low risk high reward move. If he becomes Bad Albert, he will be ran out of Foxboro quicker than Moss was. What did the Pats lose? A 5th rounder. If, however, the Pats get the Good Albert, he will be a team player, a huge improvement to the defensive line, and with Wilfork will bring tremendous pressure up the middle. The Good Albert will be devastating.

I would take a flier on a 5th rounder for this kind of impactful potential.

I think we get the Good Albert, at least this year.
And in the world of the NFL, things always change from year to year.

Great move from the best coach hands down in the NFL. He doesn’t have to ask other teams for help. He doesn’t suck toes and post it on the internet. Hate all you want my friends.

Moss probably said the same thing. Just cause they won in the past, doesn’t mean they will win in the now or the future. They get these big name players and they just sluff off, riding the coat tails of a team from the early 2000′s. Expecting to win a championship, but end the season empty handed because they are slackers.

He gave a positive impression at his first press conference when arrived in Washington. He wanted to clear his name then as well, of the accusation that he only played hard when his contract was on the line. Now that he’d been paid he was intent on creating a legacy as an outstanding defensive player who meritted a $100M. Pity that attitude never made an appearance on the field.

He certainly talks a good game. Maybe he’ll live up to it this time. Especially as he’ll be playing for a new contract and another fat signing bonus.

Can’t wait till when Albert mouths off in the media this season which he always does, its going to be epic.

Belicheats hates that, remember Adaluis Thomas and Randy Moss. Belicheat loves to keep everything in house and players like Moss, Haynesworth, TO, Ochostinko speak their mind.

Its only a matter of time before Albert has a bad game, gets into it with a coach or doesn’t like his playing time, ect ect… The media will be there to catch every word.

Should be punishable by law what he did to the skins. He was so out of shape he couldn’t play 2 plays in a row…

watch a couple of games and you’ll see what he did there. He was out of shape and humiliated himself, even after THEY GAVE HIM A PASS on the “conditioning test” he didnt get himself in shape. He’s a piece of garbage, fact.
