Rex is 3-2 against the Pats all time.
Rex has a tremendous amount of respect for the Patriots, their players, their staff, and their franchise.
Rex realizes the they are the AFC East powerhouse until the Jets win the division. He’s not “obsessed” with them, but he knows they’re a great team and the road to the Super Bowl will go through them 9 out of 10 times.
Rex realizes nobody but people with the last name “Ryan” were able to beat the Patriots. It’s hard to go 15-1 and that’s the only way we win the AFCE last year.
Hoody has a large amount of respect for Rex. See: End of Jets/Pats playoffs. Embrace + conversation = Respect, instead of a simple handshake.

Sorry fellas, but Rex knows what he’s doing, has a lot of fun doing it, and will be doing it for a long, long, time.

Not defending his argument, but I think he’s referring to the trophy count when he says “6-3″.

Agree with you though, as none of Pit’s 3 recent trips to the SB went through the Pats. I’ve relished every Steeler matchup with the Pats, but I’m often left disappointed.
