when other teams had great records but no rings, they were losers who couldn’t finish. When the Patriots do it they are a force.

But you can relax I was responding to you homer buddy whining that the rules got changed to allow others to beat the Patriots. Tackling wide receivers before the ball gets there has been against the rules for a long time. For some reason the Pats were allowed to do it, along with a host of other ridiculous rulings and allowances until their 9 point dynasty was complete. Then the NFL turned the rules back on.

@ Radrntn: If you’re going to comment on the goings on in football, you may want to research the situation a bit more. I’m pretty sure _Everyone_ in the world, now knows that the Patriots will be employing more 4-3 than last year (and even last year they were like 50-50% split).

Strange how everyone suddenly thinks BB doesn’t know what he’s doing. I mean, sure, he hasn’t been to the SB in a few years, but he’s still spearheaded some of the best, if not THE best regular season records during that SB absence.

Did you even read Dungy’s comments before posting this stupidity? Dungy was very complimentary of Belichick and how he’s able to get something out of players no one else can. You’re just being an idiot.

And for all the people comparing this to Vick, Dungy worked with Vick to try and help him get his personal life on track. He’s saying in answer to an interview question that as a coach he wouldn’t have wanted Haynesworth because he’s a selfish, lazy player on the field. The two things have nothing to do with one another.

BB and Tony are both very good coaches but each has a different approach. Both win. Both have the respect of the players. One comment here states that A. Thomas did not respect BB. There is almost no one in New England or Baltimore who respects that locker room lawyer Adalius Thomas. When Ray Lewis calls you out then you deserve it.

Trust me, even die-hard Patriots fans (like me) know that Albert has been a lazy turd and that there is a decent chance that this will not work out. But if it doesn’t, we can cut him immediately and merely lose a 5th round pick in two years, nothing of reliably huge value.

It’s good that Saint Dungy recognizes that Chad and Albert are different.

Chad is a self-promoter. That’s an issue. It’s nowhere near the issue of being lazy, out of shape, a poor teammate, and whining about how you are used. That fanous clip where Albert lies on the ground while a play is going on- Chad wouldn’t do that.

Chad is low risk, high reward, and low price

Albert is high risk, high reward, and even lower price

Both deals were worth doing, considering risk/reward, and neither is a lock to pan out, particularly Albert

I don’t get how his comments about whether he would want Haynesworth on his team have anything to do with his relationship with Vick. DP asked him a question and he answered it. He’s seen enough on tape and in-person of Fat Albert to make up his mind and state an opinion on whether he’d want him playing for a team he coached. That said, I also think it’s a good, relatively low-risk pick up for the Pats. Dungy and BB are different coaches for sure. But if you think Dungy was a crappy coach you are an idiot.
