Still the Eagles. They aren’t very good at developing players so they got under the cap by cutting a bunch of players that they have not been able to develop. That freed up a lot of salary cap room for them. Now they are using that cap room to sign free agents that have been developed by other teams in the hope that ready-made talent can overcome crappy coaching and player development. Hence the term, “can’t coach ‘em up, poach ‘em up”.

Wow. A rare Eagle fan with a level head and a post with some intelligence – the post at 4:52 pm is what I am referring to. Good to see there are some smart Eagle fans out there trying to balance out the multitude of the opposite type.

Now, as far as your post at 5:28 pm, wouldn’t you agree the SB is always the goal, and if you don’t win it, the season just isn’t complete, regardless of the team? So saying the Eagles have been “better” in the last decade is referring to regular season wins. Would you agree the Cowboys have been better at winning SB’s? If you look at the all-time Cowboys/Eagles record including the playoffs, the Cowboys still lead 59-45 games. Is that argument valid? You see, arguments are subjective. It all depends on what you want to focus on and point out. Eagle fans like to point out 1997 to present for their arguments against the Cowboys. The Cowboy fans will point out the early 90′s and the Zero SB wins for the Eagles. Who is more correct? That is why I always go back to the ultimate in this league. The SB wins.

Whether it is 1970, or 2010. If you have a SB win in your legacy, you have the right to bring up your legacy. If not, you really have little platform. There is no second place in the NFL. Do the Bills have any right to talk about winning 4 AFC Championship games in a row? Of course, but what are they ultimately remembered for? Losing 4 SB’s in a row, because winning a SB is the pinnacle.

Sounds like a remedy to me!

Dallas and Washington are at least 3 years away from doing anything substantial due to past bad moves. I know because I used to watch the Eagles do the same dumb things for 3 decades.

Owners need to realize that most of these players aren’t worth what they’re paid. None of them are so important that they can’t be replaced.

Jordan is stil the best basketball player to every step on the court. What happened when he retired? Nothing….They kept playing basketball.

The owners need to stop with all the bad contracts and build with the draft now. At least now you can watch a guy play for four years before you decide to give him a big contract.

At least you speak in terms that aren’t 20 years old like back when your team was good. I know it angers you that the Eagles have been consistantly better than your team for the past decade (maybe longer), but face it with your plastic face owner you have no shot at winning another one.

I can say however it would be nice to have at least one in any decade. I can keep it real…

To correct the record, Stephen McGee beat Kevin Kolb in the last game of 2010. That’s a 3rd string QB in his first NFL start over a 2nd string QB who was starting his 7th game.

Enough said.

How are we OVER the cap? We haven’t done ANYTHING! I predict a 7-9 year. At least we’ll be better than Washington…again.

Funny how this article doesn’t mention anything about the Redskins, yet Dallas fan has to talk trash. If my memory serves me, the Cowboys draft slot was prior to the ‘Skins in the 2011 NFL draft. Hmmmm, doesn’t sound like the Cowboys were better to me.

There is no default “win” in an argument for a fan whose team has never won a SB. Are those teams with SB winning Legacies never allowed to upset the very fragile egos of the Eagle fans (who don’t have a SB winning team in their trophy cases) by bringing up THEIR SB winning history? Since when do you get to write the rules of who can and cannot mention a SB victory, and how long before a SB trophy becomes null and void?

Poor Eagle fans. They don’t have a SB victory to their names, and we are supposed to keep quiet as to not hurt their Egos, or be accused of calling them a Nazi since we have a legacy of SB wins (that isn’t supposed to be mentioned because they are “ancient”). A SB win is a SB win. If your team had one, then you would understand.

Are you telling me that you, as an Eagle fan, wouldn’t be allowed to bring up the SB against the Raiders following the 1980 season had you won it? OF COURSE you would bring it up, because once you win a SB, it can never be taken away from the team or those players. It is in the books. It is part of the legacy. You just don’t know how it feels to be a fan of a SB winning team, so you invent scenarios like a Cowboy or a Skins fan calling you a Nazi during an argument if they bring up a SB, whether it be from this decade or not.

It is real simple – WIN ONE, or continue being a butt-hurt Eagle fan who can’t handle it when a SB victory is brought up. .

you should also note that the cowboys havent been successful since free agency and a salary cap were first started and now no team can “buy” a superbowl again…but thats ok..live on past glory
