Why is Dallas even mentioned in the same breath as these other teams? They have won one playoff game in 15 years and had a 6-10 record last season. Seriiously… Why not mention the Rams, Seahawks, Buccaneers, Giants and Bears as well? All of them had better records than Dallas last season, and the Queens, Skins, Lions and 49ers tied them!

As for Philthydelphia, their biggest roadblocks would be the Packers, Saints, Bears and Falcons, with the added headache of signing too many egos without the benefit of an offseason program. Good luck with that. My prediction is that the Giants take the East this year.

I’m gonna type this really slow so you guys can follow along. Last year is last year. This year is this year. But go right ahead and underestimate the Cowboys, it’s how the Eagles have lost 4 of the last 6 games to them (and I’m not counting the last one for obvious reasons).

I mean if you’re going to base everything off of last year you can expect the Eagles to choke in the wild card round again, right?

Ok Melonhead, I’m going to say this really slowly so YOU can understand it, though from the looks of things you seem to be PFT’s village idiot.

The logic that the Eagles are going to be a better team this year, is based on last year, AND the improvements that have been made THIS year.

Philly raped Arizona most likely in that trade, had the best off-season, beefed up their already 11th ranked defense with All-Pro’s, and Pro Bowlers to go with their 2nd ranked offense from last year, got a backup QB better than probably half of the league’s at least, and added two possible future HoF line coaches to already one of the best offensive minds in football in Andy Reid.

Oh yeah…and we won the division last year.

So you add the two things together, and a logical person would think that the Eagles will most likely improve from last year. An illogical person would do like most of the Cowboy’s fans on here and say :

“HoW Many U Gotz!! We goT 5!!! deeeerrrp!!!!, RomO is TroY AikmAn’s seCreT loVe ChIllddd with Jerry JonEs, deeeeerp!”.

Class is dismissed.

Other than that, the problems the Eagles’ face are who to give the ball to, Desean, Maclin or McCoy? Maybe this is why the Eagles never won anything with McNabb at the helm. I wonder if he knows you can just spread the ball around to all three. Desean only needs about 50 catches to have a huge year, and Maclin is humble despite his huge talent. The team still has to run, so Shady will get his share, not to mention he’s also big in the pass game.

And then the other problem is paying Vick, but he fails to mention that doing so will free up millions in cap space considering he’s a $16 million hit to the cap because of the Franchise Tag.

The Eagles have their problems. It’s uncertain the level of chemistry they’ll have. It’s uncertain how Juan Castillo will make the transition from OL coach to Defensive Coordinator. We still are unsure about the right side of our line with Danny Watkins starting as a rookie and the RT spot still up in the air. We still don’t know what’s going on as far as LBs go. I love McNabb and appreciate all he’s done for this organization, but he’s not here anymore. He clearly doesn’t know what’s going on.

McNabb had faults as a QB, but he was the best QB we’ve had in decades – if not ever.

He IS, however, as passive-aggressive crybaby. That’s his personality and has nothing to do with his on-field performance, where he was a true warrior (won a game on a broken foot once).

McNabb, you’re not forgotten by the true football fans in Philadelphia.

I have no allegience to either the Eagles or Mcnabb but last I checked, the greatest season the Eagles have had in the last 20 years came with Mcnabb at the helm.

Mcnabb got you closer to a superbowl victory than any other quaterback in the last 20 years too.

You want to blame Mcnabb for the superbowl loss and because he threw up midgame, what about the Eagles defense? You don’t think Drew Brees is a Superbowl champion just slightly because of an interception return for a touchdown late in the game?

Mcnabb got too much blame for not winning it all for the Eagles on a team that has only done worse since losing support for him. Facts are facts people

I can’t stand this Diva Receiver culture where coaches and QBs have to “worry” about giving WRs balls or they’ll throw tantrums. It’s a team sport. The only thing any receiver should be worried about is advancing the team’s chances of winning, whether he’s thrown 10 balls or one.

The funny part is that the Eagles will spend a s#*tload of money, and they will still NOT win the Super Bowl. Fact. Didn’t worlk for the Redskins, hasn’t worked for the Cowboys, hasn’t worked for the Jets- ain’t gonna work for the Eagles.

So at least McNabb has the satisfaction of knowing that.

Plus, he’s probably a bit angry that the team is “NOW” spending big on Big Talent for the defense/offense/all around…

Imagine what Jim Johnston could have done with the talent the Eagles aquired during this free agency period.
