Gotta laugh at the owners – they are their own worst enemies – AGAIN!!!
They “had” control of the contract values and should have play hardball with 20 -32, well within their right under the collective bargaining agreement.
The ink isnt even dry and they have already lost their leverage!!!

I don’t see why the Browns gave a crap about 8 million dollars. They threw away so much money on busts over the years 8 mill guaranteed is pocket change.

I predict that next year, picks 21-32 will all seek fully guaranteed years (and most will get them) and eventually all the first round picks will be signed to fully guaranteed contracts and we’ll begin to see all the first round picks report to camp on time and the second round picks will be the hold-outs.

I thought the new CBA was going to eliminate holdouts by draft picks. Guess that didn’t work.
