I know its harsh but the best thing for Abiamiri career was probably getting injured and put on IR. He was going to get cut plain and simple. The guy has done nothing for the team his entire career. This at least gets him another season to collect a pay check.

They should change the name of the list to ‘reserve/gutless quitters’… so far the Eagles list features Noel Devine and Ricky Sapp. Better to find that out about these guys now than, say, in the fourth quarter of one of the games vs Dallas.

It is a shame about Abiamiri. The young man really did have talent. Unfortunately there are players in the NFL that never get to show it because of injuries. Dan Cody was the same way for the Ravens. The guy had really good pass rush moves, but he could never stay healthy enough to play. In this “next man up” league, you only get so many chances.

Haters gon hate, can’t do nothin bout it, i love the birds but respect all of the other teams because the difference between a playoff team and a 6-10 team isnt as much as people would expect. These are the BEST football players in the world, stop saying anybody on any team sucks cuz they had to do well in HS and college and make the team to be a pro. I have a hunch none of you have ever done that, so respect the players and the game, stop being egotistical nuts who depend on their team to win to talk trash and feel superior to people. You’re just a screen name on here, nobody cares who you are or what you do or your opinion, if they did you’d be working for PFT and now writing on the boards.

I wish people would learn the definition of the word “bust”. To call Abiamiri, who has been injured every year of his career, a bust, is just plain stupid.

When you call someone a bust, it means they were terrible based on their play. How about you call him “unfortunate” or “unlucky” or anything beside the played out term “bust”?

So many haters. All I see is other teams fans on eagles links talking crap…what if the eagles don’t fold? What if the eagles tear the cowboys apart twice? What if the eagles beat GB in the playoffs?
and by the way this isn’t reids swan song…he will finish his contract regardless of what happens. I just can’t over all the haters! Everyteam has the same cap! The birds actually gave up on nnamdi, but his agent came back and said let’s make this work. And good job by the birds getting DRC and a 2nd for kolb. Also not the birds Fault that guys like Ronnie Brown took less money to come here…how is any of that buying a SB. At the end of the day the games will decide everything.

So actually, neither played on the squad last year (or longer), prolly more likely in the 54-90 roster spots then the 1-53 ones. Great chance they were gonna be cut anyway. I feel bad for Victor cause of the injury, but he was prolly gonna get cut soon anyway. Yet, this story is adding to the daily eagles stories written quota and someone called the Eagles the “Day-Dream Team” in the comments…….People, these dudes were scrubs, camp fodder, mean nothing, it really changes nothing, not for the eagles chances or against them. WITHOUT A DOUBT, the FO is not running out to trade for Osi because of any of this. Just move along, nothing to see here……..
