Something tells me the Titans won’t be outbid for Mason–losing him the first time was a defining mistake they’re STILL paying for. Will he take less money for a clearer Super Bowl shot? LOL @ the Vince comments. He had Britt and Moss and never threw to either. Could never see past Bo or Nate. Although he did lead Gage into some backbreakers in midfield. Thank god VY and his “legendary lack of work ethic” is elsewhere..

The Jets are in deep poo if they fail to acquire Mason.

With him, they’ve got a guy who costs less and is healthier than Cotchery, all with likely stronger production. He’s also Plax insurance and could step up to be the #2 receiver even if Burress performs at a high level.

Without him, they have to pray Plax can be his old self and fall back on Dustin Keller.

They dodged a bullet when Cromartie resigned. There’s nearly as much on the line for New York in this scenario.
