No word yet on Adrian Wilson, Michael Adams set for arthroscopic knee surgery

A day after reports surfaced that Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson may have suffered a serious bicep or elbow injury, there’s no word yet on Wilson’s exact condition. But another member of the Cardinals’ safety is preparing for arthroscopic knee surgery.

Cardinals cornerback Michael Adams will have an arthroscopic procedure on his knee, Darren Urban of the team’s web site writes.

We don’t know how long Adams will be out, but he could be back by the start of the regular season. Adams played in all 16 games for the Cardinals last year, starting four.

As for Wilson, the team is expected to give an update on his condition on Monday. Wilson wrote this on Twitter Sunday: “Cardinal Fans just be patient and believe in the impossible.. #teamwilson I will never give up on this TEAM ever!!!”

So Wilson is staying optimistic. But the fact that he wants fans to “believe in the impossible” suggests that his injury is a significant one.

Cards secondary could be in for a long long year ahead.

Can’t find the article on but he has some bicep/elbow injury that MAY NOT require surgery and could get him back in 3-4 weeks. Otherwise if he opts for surgery it’s a 2-3 month injury and recovery time.

He will play with a bone sticking out of his arm if he must. He is a true player and loyal to the team and Fans.
The Arthroscopic surgery on Adams should not be bad. Probably just a little cartilage that needs to be removed.

Whiz likes to make other teams think. Kinda like how Tom Brady has been on the questionable list every week he has ever played for the Patriots.

Still wish we had traded a number 1 for Kolb and kept DRC.

There are not many men that are as tough as A-Dub in the NFL. If he misses a large amount of time then you best believe that he is really bad off. This guy is what all young players in this league should try to emulate!

Article reads: “But another member of the Cardinals’ safety is preparing for arthroscopic knee surgery….Cardinals cornerback Michael Adams…”

You had me going for a moment – the inference being that Adams was a safety and that depth at the position would be even thinner.

But then you refer to Michael as a CB.
