APWith Brian Cushing out due to injury and the Texans generally hoping to get better on defense, they’ve added a five-year veteran linebacker to the roster.
The team has announced that Tim Dobbins has signed with the team.
Dobbins appeared in 16 games for the Dolphins in 2010, starting six. Dobbins spent the four prior seasons with the Chargers, appearing in 62 games and starting 10. His rookie season coincided with Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips final year in that same position with the Chargers.

Good signing.
… and Shawshank Redemption is one of my favorite films too
LBs are slim pickins right now…
Arian Foster, Brian Cushing, Andre Johnson ….ehhhchchee, not starting off too strong. Bring in Cortland to toughen these guys up.
Texans need to sign Randy Moss AND Favre to make it to 8-8 this year.
As a Dolphins fan, this guy sucked. Good riddance.
Wish him the best on a speedy recovery. With that being said, Shawn Merriman part deux.
cush got a lot to prove this year…and i’m wondering if he’ll be able to.
I like the signing. Miami defensive scheme sucks anyways. Good depth.
we need the depth
