My point was that it’s far too early to speculate how a team is going to do this season. The Eagles have signed a lot of FA’s, but there’s no idea how that will translate on the field, however Eagle fans are clamoring that this is the best Eagle team ever, and they are unbeatable. Such talk is ridiculous.

As for McNabb, while I’m not expecting the Vikes to make the playoffs, I think they’ll finish at/near .500 ball, and he’ll have a solid year. Eagles fans seem to forget that without Donovan McNabb, they wouldn’t have had any of the past success they enjoyed.

Bottom line, a real and objective fan can see both sides of the football equation, and sadly there doesn’t seem to be one among the fans of the Eagles.
