APThe Steelers didn’t sign Jerricho Cotchery after his visit Sunday, but they did add a receiver to the practice field.
Hines Ward passed his physical and will come off the PUP list Monday; he’s been out with a thumb injury. Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette also spotted Emmanuel Sanders without a boot on, as the second-year receiver recovers from his latest foot surgery.
If Ward can get ready for Week One — and he has plenty of time — the Steelers probably don’t need to pick up a free agent wideout.

He actually practiced/played on Saturday while he was filming scenes for the new Batman movie. I guess they figured if he was healthy enough to “act” he was healthy enough to participate in training camp.
When Ward retires, maybe he can ask T. Suggs to write a role for him.

Man I can’t ever get enough of that glowing smile. Hines is back and my steeler flag is at full mast. I think we are going to have a tough time of it this year, the browns and ravens are looking really good from what I hear. Is it me or does Ben look like he’s gained about 40 lbs. I just hate to see him get even more immobile in the pocket since he ended up laying on the field half the time last year. I’m just so nervous and excited about my steelers! WOO HOO We got 6 rings thats right 6! shouldve had 7 last year. I just want one more sot it matches ben’s jersey # I think that would be sooo cool! YEAH ROCK ON steelers. All the Rest of you Are Jealous. And I really wish when Im at the bowling alley and the mall you haters would stop yelling Rapesherburger at me when i wear my ben jersey out, its not funny and it hurts a little too be honest. Thanks, its nice to know someone else has a sense of humor here. And also thank you and your Packer team for shutting these obnoxious Stealer Turd Fans up for a few weeks after the super bowl. My over and under was 1 week after losing before they starting running their mouths on how great they are. Reality will be hitting hard this year I believe.
