In Miami and then in Cleveland he thought he should get paid first, rather than put together a couple of solid seasons to earn a contract. As a result he ended up pouting himself out of Miami and then Cleveland.

Matt – if the Dolphins and Browns (teams than need bodies at your position) don’t think you’re worth the investment, why should the Pats?

Swallow your enormously unearned pride and get it through your think wrestler’s head that you need to be a team player to merit 3 mil per year at your talent level.

I thought him to be a solid LB/DE. But his interview with the Pats, and then raising his asking price, definitely demanded the Pats to say “pass”. I find this disappointing in Roth. I would almost bet that if he doesn’t find a team, he will be forced to re-sign with Cleveland at an embarrassing discount because I really don’t think the Browns have that much interest in him. And I think that is another one of Cleveland’s mistakes.
