The point is sanchez is obviously an improving quaterback and will have a good season this year.. As far as the wild cats rex knows his game and knows his team like no other coach does to theirs.. shockingly to most i believe the jets will have an amazing offense if their recievers step up to the game.. Edwards was a bad loss for the jets for sure.. brad smith made his own stupid decision.. he was good for the wild cats and special teams plays… but i'm sure the jets will progress without him..

As I’ve said before, a group of agenda-driven haters has attempted to re-write the quarterbacking rules in an effort to hold Mark Sanchez to a ridiculous, completely unrealistic standard.

For the better part of the last 40 years, it’s been the common understanding that quarterbacks often take 3-5 years or more to develop. Drew Brees was considered a bust until his fourth year. Eli Manning didn’t have his first good season until his fifth year. Steve McNair had one 3,000-yard passing season through his first six years in the league. By the time that Terry Bradshaw was 26, he had thrown 48 TDs and 81 INTs. Through his first 10 seasons, the ballyhooed John Elways had thrown 158 TDs to 157 INTs.

So give it a rest. He’s 24 years old.

maybe the pats should consider implementing the wildcat to give opposing defenses one extra thing to prepare for. good defenses can usually defeat one dimensional offenses. the pats have no running game and no deep threat receiver that needs to be respected, which is why the ravens and jets absolutely dominated your uggboot wearing qb and his offense in the playoffs.
