How does trading your number 2 receiver for a late round pick make you a better football team? Evans is a one-trick pony and we have seen over the last few years, if you take the deep ball away from hum he is not a good receiver. Everyone who attributes his lack of production to a poor O-line and bad QB, Stevie Johnson was catching balls from the same “bad QB” and his numbers far exceeded Evans last year. Evans best years were with losman so clearly there is no correlation between quality of QB and Evans production.

Lee has a lot of tread left on his tires….no fifth rounder is worth him….stupid Fuxking trade imo because they only trade that would be worth it won’t happen ie 1st or starting tackle

evans is very fast, great in a hand fight for a reception but limited in his bag of tricks. he runs sloppy routes, is inclinded to take plays off and is not a guy that fits in any kind of scheme that wants wr`s to do more than a couple things. he was a classy guy in buffalo but why complain when you make millions for doing nothing but being a nice guy.

Funny on a team with no talent @ QB while Evans was has been there since he was drafted from Wisc 1 of the most under the radar receivers. Very under rated> FACTS DONT LIE.

He’s a speedy guy, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Raiders make a play for him if the price is right. I just don’t see where he fits. The Raiders don’t have any bonafide number one receivers, but there’s a lot of talent there.

I’d love for Lee to come home to Cleveland. I don’t think it’s realistic to think the Bills will get much in return however. Little chance they get a starting OL. Probably looking at maybe a 5th rd pick. Doesn’t mean he’s not a good player, it’s just reality in the NFL this off season.

He’d be a good addition for the Cardinals. They have promising your receivers in Andre Roberts and Early Doucet, but Evans would be a good addition.

Fitz-Evans-Heap as your main receiving group, you could do worse.

This entire “news story” is bizarre. When you actually go read the reports about the supposed IN THE NEXT 48_HOURS!!! deal they all come down to the equivalent of “my uncle’s cousin’s next door neighbor said Lee Evans will be traded”, but everyone is acting like it is a done deal. Twitter has turned sports reporting into parroting what someone else reported might be true as if 15 people speculating the same thing turns crap into fact. Twitter is the equivalent of infomercials – they should all end with “but wait! there’s more! if you order now we’ll throw in a free…”

unless your saying he hasn’t had a competent QB since college, then your wrong. Either way, the Bills are stupid for letting him go now. I haven’t seen anything from the other WR that would make me feel confident in letting him walk, for any pick/player. OLine is our only glaring whole, and I don’t think a team will ship us someone for Evans that will improve our OLine like Evans improves our WR. Come on Buddy, I actually belive in you guys, don’t let us down. And to the haters, Evans is one of the best deep threats in the NFL, he will make whatever team he goes too instantly better. I don’t want draft picks. The absolute DREAM deal in terms of draft picks would be a 3rd or a 4th. That is it. Therefor, I want someone that will have a big impact to the team. I desperately need a Tackle. Fitz is getting absolutely ZERO time throwing the ball during training camp. We need an O-Lineman, and we need him now.
