Starters like Michael Vick won’t play much in the preseason opener, but Vick made sure to make the most of his short time on the field.
Vick completed 4-of-6 passes in his only drive, for 74 yards and a score. The key play was a 42-yard improvisational throw to Riley Cooper.
Cooper badly beat Chris Carr up the sideline and made a nice leaping grab near the goal-line. Cooper could wind up starting and having a big role in the red zone if Jeremy Maclin isn’t ready for the start of the year.
