BTW he is concerned that the flight will aggravate his ankle injury because due to the altitude, cabin pressure, etc, there is a higher risk of it swelling up more than need be. if he’s not playing, why have him travel? its just a preseason game. we don’t need to bring a cheerleader along.

he’ll be fine. he’ll have an average season, i say like 700 yards and 5 TDs because it will take him 4-5 games or so to get used to the offense and everything else that comes with coming back to the NFL. Especially with his circumstances ie; jail, injury, getting in shape, learning the offense, etc. But his raw skill will get him a few TDs based on fades to the back of the end zone and pure jump balls on mismatches.

Hey Jets fans, want to make some Haynesworth comments? Ellis comments? Because obviously you focus more on hating other teams than trying to figure out your own.

Jets are doomed this year. Spent too much time on Asomugha when they didn’t even need him and signed a WE fresh out of jail when they should have focused on keeping their core stable. Perfect example of an off-season as to why the Pats always remain on top and the Jets will always pray for a playoff spot.

As a Pats fan from NY, I hear tons of crap obviously, but I still have respect for the Giants, so good luck Giants fans.

Gotta love how Jets’ fans conveniently forget that if the undefeated Colts did not forfeit two years ago, the Jets would not have made the playoffs that year.

Last year Edwards and Cromartie are bad seeds, they will implode and the Jets will go back to 6-10 record.

Now its Plaxico sucks, Sanchez sucks, the Jets suck.

And Cotchery and Ellis are both going to Canton, right?

Jets ground and pound, will win a lot of games again with outstanding defense. And a solid running game. And yes they will make the playoffs. What happens then is anyone’s guess I am sure Patriot fans didn’t expect their 14-2 team to be upset last year.

But one thing we all do know, Sanchez is a terrific playoff QB.

I agree with the earlier statement about karma. They have had great talent on this team that wanted to work hard without big contracts, but they foolishly let all the up and coming go for former stars who are past their prime years. Leon washington gone, add L.T. Braylon Edwards gone, add Buress. Cotchery gone. add mason. At least two of those veterans are hard working professionals but I dont know what they are doing. They will do alright this year because their defense will win games for them, but they have definitely downgraded their offense and will not have enough production tomgo as far as they did last year. Rex was so proud of getting L.T. because people doubted his ability to produce. I think since he proved tombe valuable he went overboard this year with that school of thought

What have the Giants done lately? The Jets are clearly the better team in NY right now. It’s a no-brainer. Even jrkoff Francesca admits it. They jets are better at every position. And the pretty-boy Qb is 4-2 in playoffs and went to 2 championship games in his first 2 yrs. Granted, they still got more work too do and get to the superbowl, but come on…Admitted, the Giants do have a better winning history, but you can’t actually believe the Giants are better than the Jets right now?
