APYou won’t see Jets receiver Plaxico Burress Monday night on ESPN. But you will see him on HBO the following evening.
Burress will be featured on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. He and his wife, Tiffany, were interviewed for the show, along with Plaxico’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman.
Expect plenty of talk regarding the incident that resulted in Burress shooting himself in the leg and subsequently being incarcerated for nearly two years. That could be unfortunate. It seems that he has been more focused on moving forward, not looking backward, since he returned to the NFL.
Either way, it’s safe to say that the folks at Real Sports will get something interesting out of Burress that he hasn’t already said.
Even if he doesn’t, the segment also will feature Rex Ryan’s return to HBO. Which means that Ryan’s performance likely will deliver another 17 Emmys for the network.

How about we see if he could still play first?
Plax shut down but not shut up. RR brings the Human Body Odor back to HBO.
Fiddlesticks! My free period of HBO has run out
At least it appears they are actually talking about sports this week. Happened to flip to it last week and they were interviewing some nerd that has a bunch of stupid Guinness World Records like pogo sticking underwater and walking with a glass of milk on his head. This was after they did a piece on the running of the bulls in Pamplona which is just drunks running through the street. I thought the show was called Real “SPORTS”.
got to catch mike fatcessa interview rex yesterday after he was embargoed from talking to any jets for over a year for railing against rex (i think that was it).
those 2 together, in the words of george costanza, that’s a show.
i hope they asked him what his favorite prison food was
Since he is a convicted felon, I guess his wife has to pack the heat in the waistband of her sweats.
