APShots reportedly have been fired at the South Bend, Indiana home of Corwin Brown, a former NFL player, college assistant coach, and pro assistant coach.
According to WSBT-TV (via SouthBendTribune.com), a SWAT team is on the scene. Police said that the situation started as a domestic abuse call.
Per WSBT, Brown’s wife and children made it out of the home safely. A reporter from WSBT heard additional shots once he arrived on the scene.
Brown, 41, played for the Patriots from 1993 through 1996, the Jets from 1997 to 1998, and the Lions in 1999 and 2000. He worked as a coach at Virginia (2001 through 2003) and Notre Dame (2007 to 2009), and with the Jets (2004 to 2006) and Patriots (2010). The Patriots did not extend his employment beyond 2010.

i hope there were no children in the home at the time of the shots.
that out of the way…
blam blam son! heard!
anyone seen Marvin Harrison?
I wonder if the NFL should seriously look into mental evaluations, as well as brain scans. To see if people who are naturally agressive tend to play pro football or if the game itself takes a toll on there mental physche?
There’s no way this is going to have a happy ending….
Corwin is trying to flee to Wisconsin so he can beat the weapons charge.
“Maybe he shoulda’ hit harda’ with his head! … it’s just tha’ way tha’ game should be played!!!”

I think he will blow his head off!
South Bend is a toilet. That city is going down the sewer. That known, why is this a story? Shots are fired in South Bend all the time. Wasn’t that where Dave Duerson beat up his wife? Wasn’t that where Charlie Weis ate nearly all the hamburger in the city?
I can’t believe some of the comments on this board. You people should seek help, immediately. Things that are not funny…ARE NOT FUNNY for a reason.
Remember that when tragedy strikes your family. Would you like to hear that people were joking about it–while it was happening.
Sick, people. You should be ashamed.
I agree with LOTSOK, some people just need to grow up
