Redskins tight end Chris Cooley has been seen “limping noticeably” around Redskins camp, and his work has been rather limited throughout.
The problem is apparently serious because Cooley tried practicing Monday and hasn’t been seen since. Coach Mike Shanahan indicated Cooley will be out at least two more weeks.
“Keep our fingers crossed that he’ll be back. When it will be, I can’t tell you for sure,” Shanahan said via CSNWashington.com.
That doesn’t sound good. Cooley keeps having his knee drained. (We can hear his fantasy value draining from here.)
On the bright side, promising third year tight end Fred Davis is reportedly having a big camp.
