It’s also been fun seeing the 49er fans pay a visit. The 49ers will absolutely go no better than 6-10 this year. They have no quarterback and neither do the Seahacks. I like Tarvaris Jackson and I want him to be good but he simply is not. Alex Smith is also an epic failure and the 49ers are simply 3 years in deep denial. I have no clue whatsoever why these two franchises – especially the 49ers – didn’t try harder to get good quarterbacks this year. Someone is going to be fired for not grabbing Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, or Ryan Mallett.

Our second-string TE figured out your defense wouldn’t even cover him if he pretended to be out of the play because the Aints only play half-hearted. And guess what? We got a TD on that play. For all the smack you Aints fans may want to talk, the simple fact is that the last football game you played that counted, you got your butts handed to you by the Seattle Seahawks. That same team you are trying to talk smack about. The Seattle Seahawks suck, eh? Then how do you explain your entire defense getting punked out like girl scouts at a biker convention?

Saints need a new DC. Their defense is terrible. Seahawks were one of the worst offenses in football last season and they made us look like the Patriots.

You know the difference between a perrenial contender like the Saints and a crap team like the Seahawks?

The Saints, despite having just won a Super Bowl the year before and fielding an elite defense in 2010, didn’t rest on their laurels. They could’ve easily dismissed the Seahawks game as a fluke but they didn’t. They went and and drafted a stud DE, signed the best two free-agent DT’s on the market, and brought in a slew of fresh faces at linebacker.

The Seahawks, meanwhile, turned their meager success last year and went completely ass-backwards. Tavaris Jackson? LOL. No literally, I am laughing out loud at the complete ineptitude of your franchise. But hey, hang your hat on that playoff win…at least it’ll give you something good to think about when you’re going 2-14 this year.

you are making a very bad name for 49ers fans with your incessant whining and silliness. Making the playoffs 3 of the last 5 seasons DOES a powerhouse make. On top of that the Saints have made the NFC championship game 2 times in the last 5 seasons. Also, do you know which team has more regular season wins than the Saints over the past two years? None.

And, if the Saints defense were so damn talented, they should have been able to stop the Niners straight up, without tricks, just like the Niner defense did to the Saints starting group. Again, the Niners new 3-4 without a starting nose tackle stopped the Saints first team cold. I think it’s already over for the Saints, but I understand that it will take time to convince Saints fans.

Since the beginning of the Brees/Payton era, the Saints are the winningest team in the NFC.

This Saints D is more talented than any we’ve ever had…ON PAPER. It’s up to the individuals to make an impression on their coach so they actually MAKE the team. Williams just put them in a position to do that. You may see some of these guys on your own team soon, so quit complaining and start writing your thank you notes to the Saints org for finding these guys.

…Seriously? I’m surprised Louisiana didn’t friggin’ SINK after Hartley kicked us into the Bowl.

And guys? It’s preseason. Gregg didn’t HAVE to do anything. He brought the house because that’s what he LOVES to do. He wanted to welcome us back to football with a bang, not a whimper.

I was only surprised to see Payton calling plays so conservatively. Brees with only 4 pass attempts in 3 series? Yeah, that’s not going to happen in the regular season.

On the other side of the ball, I’m just surprised Gregg Williams thought he had to do that to stop such a new offense.

By the way, the Saints starting defense only played 3 series…so not only does your starting unit suck, but so does your backups.

Your well-practiced, cohesive powerhouse offense couldn’t get a first down against a brand new 3-4 without its starting NT and a few other starters playing it straight up without any tricks. And, your defense somehow couldn’t play a mediocre, two-week old offense without throwing the book at them. Let’s just say that if that’s any indication of where the Saints stand, they’ll also be watching the big game this year.

P.S. That “craphouse” of an indoor stadium will be hosting yet another Super Bowl next season. One in which the Forty Whiners will be watching…again.

So…that game wasn’t in Seattle? Just as I suspected, you don’t know much about football.

A team that’s sure of itself would have played the Niners straight up and said, “go ahead, try to move the ball on us. You can’t do it.” A team that’s got the same scheme as it has had for a few years and the same coaches, a team that’s been notable for the amount of organized practices during the summer lockout, should have been able to get a first down against a brand new defense playing them straight up and without some of its key starters. But, the Saints couldn’t do that. Good luck in the regular season, Saints fans. You’re going to need a lot of luck.

I don’t think they know exactly what a “perennial powerhouse” is. Let me help. A “perennial powerhouse” would be a team that goes 16 straight years winning 10 or more victories a season, goes to 8 or 9 championship games and is 5-0 in the FIVE Superbowls in which it has played. A “perennial powerhouse” is not a one-and-done phenomenon that loses to a 7-9 playoff team the year after it wins it all. I’m happy that the Saints finally won a championship. I rooted for them in that game. I was happy for New Orleans, one of my favorite cities in the country. But “perennial powerhouse??!!” Come on.

The brand new Niner defense, without its starting Nose Tackle in a 3-4 and a couple other starters, played the first string Saints offense from a base position with no blitzes and stopped them cold. If I were a Saints fan, that’s what I’d be worried about. And, I’d think twice before honking and braying about beating up a QB with 18 blitzes after a couple weeks when new NFL offenses have barely had enough time to install basic formations. I guess you’ll take what you can get, but I think long-time Niner fans have higher standards.

To most people who have been following the NFL for years, that identity would be “we have no class” and “we have no confidence in our base defense.” Let’s add, “we’re a dirty team with dicks for coaches.”

That’s a Saints fan for you. One championship and you’re a “perennial heavyweight.” Pathetic. And whining that the Niners got their five championships by cheating is hilarious icing on the cake. Beautiful. Again, a brand new Niner defense, on less than two weeks practice, completely shut down your first string offense straight up, man-to-man, using no tricks at all. Again, your team wasn’t man enough to do the same thing to a brand new offense. For some reason, your coaches broke all NFL precedent and pulled every blitz out of the bag for a first practice game less than two weeks after a lockout. That slap in the face may have done the Niners a great service, but your coaches didn’t do your team any favors. People who understand how the league works are probably shaking their heads and come regular season, your QB is going to have a huge target on his back.

Greg Williams is just butt-hurt because his paper tigers got absolutely demolished by the worst playoff team in the history of the NFL a few months ago.

To me, it looks like Peyton and Williams were hazing Jim Harbaugh and although Harbaugh and Niners were being classy and not complaining too much, I’m sure they’ll remember what happened. I have a feeling this is going to come around and bite the Saints in the butt at some point in the future.
