Last time I checked 31 teams don't win the Superbowl every single year. To hear the way some of you reference the Patriots, you'd think they weren't the most dominant franchise over the last 10 years. In fact, they are. Make all the excuses you want but anyone who is a fan of the other 31 at some point has sat down and wished they had our coach, owner or quarterback. Remind how bad they are next February when Mr Kraft hoists the Lombardi trophy over his head for the 4th time

@red513

yeah right the Jets started the rumor. dumbass, how many passes has Ocho Stinko caught vs. Revis the past 3 years, about 4?? Jets WANT the Pats to keep O. Stinko that helps us.

-------------------------------------------

That was with Carson throwing the ball to him. Now he has Brady. I remember in the playoff game, Chad burned Revis and Palmer completely over threw him for what would have been an easy TD.

I'm not saying Chad is going to have a huge game against Revis, but he will have a much better game against Revis this year than he ever had with Carson as his QB.

Chad now has: A much better oline (more time to get open), a much better offensive coordinator, an infinitely better head coach, and an infinitely better QB.

It wasn't a Patriots Exec that said they could be cut. It was some other NFL exec. Probably Polian!

Belichick would only cut guys that didn't perform or didn't fit in. The Exec was just stating the obvious, that Bill could cut them. He could cut anyone. He's done it before if they aren't pulling their weight. He would never cut these guys to make a statement. That's just dumb.

All evidence so far is that both players are fitting and and playing well. This story is nothing.

Now everyone in the league gets to see exactly why cincinnati dumped him. Chad is a cancer, he is a ME ME ME player all day long, he doesnt care about anything but getting his catches and his numbers for HIS legacy. He then realized that HIS own numbers were never going to get him into the HOF, hence why he tried to force a trade 2 years ago. He knows ONL a ring or 2 is going get him into the HOF, and he wasnt going to get it in cincy with carson (pick 6) palmer, who has lacked leadership qualities and the skills since his elbow injury. Chad lost a step 2 years ago, he hasnt been the same since he quit showing up to VOLUNTARY minicamps and putting the work in, and started focusing on twitter, his crappy OCNN and his even worse T.Ocho Show, and just overall preparing for life after football. Want to know the TRUTH about chad JOHNSON and why he wanted a trade a couple years ago besides HOF aspirations. He has 3 kids by 3 diff baby mamas, and the child support is expensive. He was NEARLY broke and needed a new contract. Marvin Lewis took him under his wing, taught him about investing, being responsible with his money, and that you dont need 2 22″ tv’s next to every 40″ tv on the hallway every 12 feet.

----------------------------------------------

You pretend to know a lot, most of which you have no idea about. People still try to call Chad a cancer, but after he was traded, Bengal players were flat out saying that Chad was never a cancer. But I'm sure you, the fan on the couch eating potato chips, know better than the actual players in the locker room.

Has something changed with Ochocinco since they signed him? Is he not what they expected?

He still seems like a good player and the idea that he's locker room poison seems unfounded. He helped carry some overachieving teams in Cincy.

p.s. Is "book it" a talk radio catchphrase or something? Cuz "book it" is the most annoying phrase I've ever read. Book it.

You do realize the whole problem in Washington was that Fat Al doesn't play the 3-4. He doesnt want to be an end or nose tackle.

This is a non story that shouldn't have been printed in the first place. Until someone from the Pats says something, why print it at all.

Marvin Lewis took him under his wing, taught him about investing, being responsible with his money, and that you dont need 2 22" tv's next to every 40" tv on the hallway every 12 feet.

There's no way Belichick would try to use the media to motivate his players. It's not his MO. He hates the media and never tells them crap. Now, Shanny might pull a stunt like that, but BB is way to straightforward to pull some behind-the-back stuff like that as a motivational ploy. Like him or not, there's no way this stuff came from the Pats. Most likely it came from a rival trying to stir something up.

Hmmmmm I seem to remember people saying Randy Moss wouldn't do jack in NE. Vick wouldn't do anything for the Eagles. Texans should have taken Reggie Bush. Get the point? People need to shut up. Ocho has repeatedly offered his hand to Brady but Brady is a snob and turned away, according to reports, yes I made the snob comment because I'm biased and not a fan of the pretty boy "grown up" Justin Bieber. I'm not a huge fan of Ocho, but you have to realize, Carson was a huge factor to his lack of stats, not to mention Ocho was still pretty heavily covered even with T.O. pullin down the grabs. Palmer hasn't been stable since he went down hard years ago. If the pretty boy starts throwing to Ocho like he should, he will blow up and do well, then you will see Weller blow up again as well. As for Albert, he wouldn't still be on the team if he was being lazy and it's being said he tears through the lines in practices and has been doing well in the weightroom. Everyone bashes Albert for the Washington mishap, but you can't place all of Albert's lashing out on him. He was made promises and painted a picture that were key incentives for him to sign, and the organization blackballed him. Should he have manned up? In my opinion as a former athlete, yes. As a business person? He had every right to be majorly pissed off. Dislike this post all ya want, I really don't care. But I will laugh when Ocho and Albert post good stats this season, for whatever team they end up playing on.

Exactly, it’s amazing to me how they can sign some of these players they do every year, and get NO criticism over it. Same ol’ story. “The Patriots are a class act, winning organization that makes only smart moves, trades, and draft picks” SO ANNOYING!

Haven’t won a Super Bowl in 7 years btw
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
I don't really care if the media says all the stuff about "Pats have class" etc. A lot of them are lazy and parrot each other. And regardless of the team, each one has media critics and/or knob polishers regardless of the actual moves made.

What's important is what the players say and regardless of their pasts (and believe me I am pretty skeptical about Haynesworth) have regularly and before they were traded there expressed liking/respect for the organization. Will they back up their respect by doing what BB wants them to? Who knows? Dillon and Moss expressed undying love for the Pats and both to an extent became issues after their first great year in NE. The fact is if they live up to their respect with their actions or not is what will be the difference, not what the media says.

Oh and "btw" we are aware how many years it's been since the Pats won a SB. Did you know that even the ones they won were tainted by OMGZ!!!!1111!! CHEATERZING!!!!! too? (insert eyeroll here...I need Deb to tell me the code for it :D)

My money's on "multiple sources" meaning "they talked to Charlie Casserly three times". :)
