APWith Jets center Nick Mangold out Monday with a minor injury, Rob Turner started at center.
Now the team is down to its third-string center after Turner was carted to the locker room during the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Texans. Robby Felix has entered the game.
Turner is an important piece to the line who is used in a variety of roles. The bright side here is that Mangold’s injury is not believed to be serious.

Jets look like trash out there .
When your Team is made up of trash you will tend to look like Trash.
Yeah, the Jets are horrible. They’ll probably be just as bad as they were last year.
One thing for certain: New Jersey lacks depth pretty much everywhere.
The Jets starters looked fine to me, idk what game you guys were watching. Except for ducasse. That guy sucked up a storm.
The party is over J-E-T-S fans. You better get better soon. All that you’ll have left is a fat, loud mouth coach and an average pediph…., I mean average quarterback.

Really? It’s the first preseason game, donk.
Looks like the start of the vikings season last year and we all know how that ended up, good luck Jets you will it, not saying the Vikings won’t either. Just saying.
not by anything but he was only our #8 best lineman last year,,, most of you clowns would have him as your starter…
this story isn’t about the jets, its about a guy that got injured thats allllllll
fattuna- Jets own your Pat asses-2 out of 3 last year with a serious playoff ass whippin’ in NE.
Big sweep this year…
yea. and having a rookie 3rd string qb with third string center play for a majority of the game, yea u will get that result
There are some very idiotic people/fans out there. A 3rd string rookie qb and all backups lose to a 2nd string qb and all backups. Oh no! The season is over!
