Today was supposed to be the day that we’d learn what’s going on with Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin, who has missed training camp with a mysterious illness. But when Eagles coach Andy Reid addressed the media today, he didn’t have an update.

Reid did, however, hint that it’s still possible that the Eagles will clarify Maclin’s situation later Tuesday afternoon.

There’s still some hours left in the day,” Reid said after practice.

Maclin’s brother said yesterday that “We definitely will have some news tomorrow.” That news hasn’t come out yet.

The indications are, however, that Maclin will be OK. His brother said the news will be good, and the Eagles have said they’re still hoping he can play in the regular-season opener on September 11.
