When the Bengals decided to run it; even with their lousy interior line, Ced Benson ran it for 6 yards a go. Coaches watching the film will quickly figure out the way to stop Suh is to run it down their throats.

Lions fans are right to be bigging up Suh, Fairley and KVB, but they need to figure out how to stop the run.

Were you in here last year with all the Bears fans talking trash about what a cheap shot it was? Did the writer of this story just bring it up again to be used as further evidence of Suh’s dirty playing? Did Cutler come out to the press following the game and say he thought it was dirty and Suh should be fined by the league?

The answer is “yes” to every single question asked above. So, it is still being used in the same sentence as the other two hits in the last 21 games played and 99% of total defensive snaps. Funny that the fine was also worse than the fine for the actual bad hit on Delhomme. Also funny that out of the three incidents, the only cry baby was Cutler, considering he’s the only one that didn’t actually have a leg to stand on. See you week 5 pansy!!!

I’m a bear fan, and I thought it was a bad call. Looked probably cheap live, clearly wasn’t on the replay. The fine was dumb. So no, not all the Bear fans were trash talking. You’re generalizing.

Have you read anything over the past week? How many people have said that Cutler hit was cheap? I can’t imagine all the Bear fans suddenly disappeared. Stating the fact he was fined is not exactly agreeing with the fine. You’re exaggerating.

I read a lot of Lion fan comments complaining about the call in defense of his clean play, and I’m pointing out there’s hasn’t been a lot of argument with them on that.

And I’m looking for the Cutler quote, but have limited time to do so. I remember he said something basically like that, but I believe it was one quote right after game, and he’s not exactly the pound the podium and demanding someone’s head kind of guy. He was wrong to say it, but you’re still exaggerating his cry-babyness over it.

As far as Stafford goes the times he has been injured it has taken monster hits from an unblocked DE in both the Cleveland and Chicago game. He took plenty of big hits his rookie year and popped right back up, just had bad luck with the Peppers hit happening in the opening game last year. He also has yet to suffer an actual major structural injury, he hasn’t broken any bones or torn any ligaments but had what is a shoulder sprain. He will be just fine but the people with the stupid Glassford and china doll comments will look like fools.

I know the rules state that Viking fans can’t comment on Packer stories, but I thought Viking fans could mention a Packer in a Lion story. Sorry about the transgression.

In all seriousness, this and the play where he almost took Delhomme’s head off by ripping at his facemask were dirty, flagrant plays. Harrison’s hit on Massoquai and Brees shouldn’t even be mentioned the same category.

You need to realize that nobody with eyes a brain thinks that hit was dirty. It was one of those that really looked like it live, and absolutely did not when you watched the replay. Bad call.

Those two plays are more than enough for anyone looking to question Suh’s play. Calm down.

I hear bloggers saying Suh is dirty because of a couple questionable hits (Delhomme was over the top, Dalton was playing to the whistle and not nearly as bad as it looked, and Cutler was no penalty at all, let alone a fine). All of the bloggers are just angry because he’s not on their team.

Then I hear the analysts from PFT questioning if he plays dirty. Other analysts that have actually played the game, including HOF’ers love the way he plays.

I find it amusing that all the bloggers and analysts that have never played the game are arguing about if Suh is dirty yet no coach, player (this even includes Delhomme and Dalton), team mate, GM, scout, or anybody else who has ever had anything to actually do with the game says anything about the kid but “wow, that’s how you play the game”.

So, do me a favor. Find me any quote from any player, coach or GM in the league, or any quote anywhere from any HOF’er that says they think Suh plays dirty.
