The top priority for any coach in the preseason is to minimize injuries. After the first play from scrimmage on Thursday night at Heinz Field in the game between the Steelers and the Eagles, Jonathan Scott limped slowly to the sideline.

FOX replays showed that Scott took a helmet to the right knee.

Scott is the starting left tackle. He has replaced Max Starks, who was cut last month.

Stay tuned for more on Scott’s status.

UPDATE: FOX’s Pam Oliver reports that it’s unsure whether Scott will return. Images shown immediately thereafter seemed to indicate that a cart would be taking Scott to the locker room.
