Eli is the only QB to take his team on a game winning TD drive in a super bowl with less than 2 minutes remaining as well as take his team on 2 TD drives in the 4th quarter of the SB. Say what you will about the defense winning that championship, the defense didn’t score those TDs and both TDs were passing TDs.

Hi I have a question….oh wait that’s not the Manning everybody cares about….. thats just Eli

    Nothing to see here

    Archie Looks Ready!

    Peyton Definitely Looks Ready!

Eli, what the hell are you doing?

Looking lost as usual. Always looks like he is a deer in the headlights or like he is going to cry.

Maybe if he didn’t play crappy the other 3 quarters, it wouldn’t have been a problem.

And let me guess, David Tyree is also elite? Without him, the G-Men go home like the losers they came in as

Eli must have been ordered to run his mouth because somebody in his organization was tired of the Jets getting all the headlines.

Can some team that isn’t in New York, Philly, or Dallas get a shot at some talking points?

My father told me three things that make sense: Don’t piss into the wind, make sure you see what the lady looks like in the morning before you marry her, and if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging! This interview is nothing more than another digging moment.

Eli haters: Which of your pansy-a$$ QBs are willing to come on here and answer questions from the horde?? HUH?? HUH????

  8. buddybowl69 says: Aug 18, 2011 12:35 PM

Will Eli be wearing his blonde wig and plaid skirt during the interview?

  9. chargerdillon says: Aug 18, 2011 12:35 PM

It’s funny when internet tough guys defending Eli come off as tougher than Eli

  10. jakek2 says: Aug 18, 2011 12:42 PM

Philly fans – go to the 1:20 mark and look at that list very, very carefully. That is why we like our guy!

He was playing against a team that many were claiming before the game to be the greatest team to ever grace the NFL. And I’d rather have him play stellar in teh 4th quarter and win the game then over having him play well in the first 3 quarters and folding up in the 4th. In the end it is about winning and his championship performance was STELLAR. The INT he had wasn’t even his fault, it was outright in and out of the receivers hands and happened in the Patriots territory or Eli might have had 3 TD passes and 0 picks. Get real you Eagles blowhard. ELI SB titles 1d> Eagles franchise SB titles ZERO

Maybe Vick will come on for an interview next…Oh wait, he’s busy canceling his interview on Oprah.
Guess maybe Vick had something in his past that he wasn’t willing to talk about, huh?

rcbo – In other words, you’d rather Eli play the exact opposite as puke-bucket McNabb played in his SB 4th Q?

  15. beastoftheeast11 says: Aug 18, 2011 1:03 PM

So LETS do this BESIDES for Payton and Tom…
WHOs next as the BIG TIME QB and so how ELI COMPARES……… DREW BREES

    DREW 2010 ELI 2010

    TD 33 31

    INT 22 25

    Pass attempt 658 539

    Tot/yards 4600 4000

    20+ yard/pass 47 57

we all know ELI is not Brady or his brother …. but he’s also not Trent differ…. Give him some credit…….. He won a super bowl he’s never been a big mouth type of guy he was asked a question and you know what he answered it with confidence not to mention there is only handful of QBs that are better then eli like 6 maybe 7 thats it ……….im so sick of hearing JOSH FREEMAN, MATT RYAN, JOE FLACOO …. these goes are all new and young don’t crown them…before there time … we all did that with Carson Palmer and we see how that ended up……

  16. beastoftheeast11 says: Aug 18, 2011 1:04 PM

  17. jakek2 says: Aug 18, 2011 1:18 PM

beastoftheeast – you forgot to add in the fact that Brees plays at least 9 indoor games per year, another 2 games in warm TB and CAR and in a division that plays zero defense.

  18. condorbengal says: Aug 18, 2011 1:24 PM

You can see why Peyton is the best passer of the three, look at the difference in hand size. Archie & Eli look to have same size smaller hands and Peyton has the bigger mitts.

As a Giants fan, I’m never really quite sure what kind of performance I can expect from Eli going into any game. But I DO know that I can totally count on him to at least play the game. He’s never missed a start, and that’s something most QB’s can’t say.

  21. jackfnburton says: Aug 18, 2011 1:44 PM

Eli, is it true there is a third Manning brother who is kept caged and wearing an iron mask because he wanted to play hockey instead of football?

  22. cowboylover says: Aug 18, 2011 1:50 PM

Archie looks intense and ready to throw; Peyton looks intense and ready to throw; Eli looks like he’s holding a football.

  26. anon5121 says: Aug 18, 2011 3:34 PM

That was a good interview. I didn’t know that stuff about Eli raising millions for the children’s hospital. Great guy, great quarterback. The haters come off as ignorant.

where can i watch the segment? Part 2 isnt available to watch.

  28. plifer says: Aug 18, 2011 10:38 PM

Eli can’t hold Giselle’s jockstrap, forget about Tom’s. 1 SB victory or not, he’s not even in the same universe as Peyton or Brady. Those 2 are all time greats, HOF 1st ballot QBs. Eli won’t sniff the HOF unless Archie and Peyton do some campaigning for him.

Eli is a decent QB. He’s not in the top 10 in the league, but he also isn’t in the bottom 10. He’s an average QB that helped a great defense win a SB. Every other year, he’s mediocre. Like last year.

Brady and Peyton have been consistenly performing at a very high level for over a decade. year in , year out. Eli just isn’t there and probably never will be. Period, end of story.
