squackduckhawk…..he got man handled, pancaked and mauled. come on dude he is far to small for MLB . Wait? If he was any good he would have gone in the first 2 rounds. If it wasn’t for his name he might not of been drafted. He’s a good kid, but, his size and speed put him nowhere. Too slow for safety and far to small for ….actually any linebacker spot.

We may have stolen the 12th man handle, but Seattle fans are louder than the other two fanbases combined. We are so loud we have to troll other teams’ threads just to feel like we are heard. And Oldbyrd, to say that Casey Matthews sucks period is a bit of a stretch. This is his second-ever NFL effort. At least wait until the regular season to spew bile on a rookie.

You guys thought Terry was drunk? I thought he was just being Terry. He was talking about Cobb and it took a bit for me to realize he meant Kolb.

Clearly Tomlin did not want a repeat of last week. This was a vast improvement. But I’d feel better with more depth on that o-line.

Once Again It Is Pre season and the Eagles always do bad In pre- season and In regular season The eagles beat the steelers 2 out of three regular season games were It counts.The Eagles will be fine. Remember last week the Steelers got their ass’es handed to them.

Matthews plays too high, he just need to lower his running stance. What i saw was a good linebacker but he gets knocked off balance too easily. Lowering his running stance can correct that.

Don’t get your tits in a wringer over some of these performances good or bad.

You don’t really know what kind of game plan was executed or what each team was experimenting with. We’ve all seen teams fo 4-0 and win no games and teams go 0-4 and win super bowls.

What we learned is what we already knew. New England or Pittsburgh will have a “Super” season. I can’t wait for the Eagles’ pathetic fans to realize that the Eagles should not have traded Kevin Kolb and start whining like always. The great teams have a solid plan and stick with it until it is completed. Losers like the Eagles put a plan together, i.e., drafting Kolb – a promising quarterback to replace McNabb, and alter the plan the first chance they get. Always changing – never the consistency/stability that is always associated with the Steelers. That is why these teams can never win . . . Here we go Steelers, here we go.

So thats the headlines?”brady and bunch are ready”….”Steelers have two hurt lineman”. WTF?! Ben looked awesome….not “awesum-wah”. Steelers responded from last week’s poor outing, as a good team will. message to the TB DB who intercepted Mallett’s (stupid) pass in the 3rd quarter and brought it back for a td – when your team is getting its clock cleaned AT HOME – and you finally do something good and profit from a stupid play by a rookie QB – forget the dance. You have NO idea how stupid it looks.

FYI – I am an old fart of 67+ springs and in my day if someone did that he would have gotten his clock cleaned by his own teammates. The baddest and best running back ever was Jim Brown and he never came close to doing something like that. He would score a TD and hand the ball to the ref. The message was clear – “I’ll be back.”

I’m glad all the experts on here have now declared the Eagles dead on arrival. I hate to see them get completely outmatched, but better for it to happen now so they can try to make the necessary changes. There’s still plenty of time for them to gel on both sides of the ball.

Hopefully this quells all the ‘dream team’ nonsense.
