That’s what happens when you play preseason games like the Super Bowl. Guys getting hit by guys who won’t even be playing — when he shouldn’t have been in the game to begin with. I love how their fans are bragging about the scores in their two preseason games. No one else is taking these games all that seriously, except from an evaluation standpoint. You would have thought the Patriots had money on the line to score 30 points or more in a half every preseason game.

The thing I hated most about this play (and a lot of the second half) is the obvious non call that should have been made against TB. That was a helmet to helmet hit.
There were a bunch of other plays that TB got away with things that I hope in the regular season get called correctly (I think they were just not calling things and making up calls against the Patriots to get Tampa Bay back into the game).
But do the Patriots look ready to be a front runner again or what?

Rex wants the release of woodhead back? Nah. Last I checked little woodhead didn’t do squat against the jets in the playoffs. Besides, he didn’t really fit in the jets style of play on offense.

Beware Haters,

The Pats look very good. Even though Brady commented that his performance needed improvement he looks like he is going to have another typical Brady season. The defense looks much better and the Pats are developing a very potent pass rush.

I don’t know why in a pre season game BB has Woody returning punts in the 4th quarter?
