There were no “We want Orton” chants in Miami on Friday. (At least not yet.)

Instead, the home Dolphins crowd was chanting “Reggie, Reggie” after a particularly impressive drive by Reggie Bush. The former Saint had a 17-yard catch and a 17-yard inside run where he ran over a defender. Yes, that happened.

In all, Bush has 70 yards from scrimmage in the early going. His burst has been impressive. The Dolphins took him out of the game inside the five-yard line, where Lex Hilliard eventually punched it in on fourth down after rookie Daniel Thomas was stuffed twice.

Bush also had a 20-yard run taken away by penalty; he’s looked electric.

Chad Henne has played well enough early, finding Brandon Marshall four times. Henne did miss a wide open touchdown to Brian Hartline at one point, which could have been a drive killer. (They recovered.)

The Dolphins lead 7-0 in the second quarter.
