Orton was sharp, Quinn was solid and Tebow looked out of place. People need to keep in mind that TT was Josh McDaniels’ guy, not John Fox’s. With a beefed up defense and running game, the Broncos could easily win 9 or 10 games this season.

Puh-leaze. Josh McDaniels ran that franchise into the ground. Elway didnt draft Tebow and Fox sure as hell didnt. There was no plan in place that included him, and they had to placate the delusional fan base that thinks The annointed one is leading them to the promised land. Hoge is right, his mechanics are horrible, and he is a player that has to play his way into being a starter and developing NFL QB mechanics, and Fox wasnt risking his regime on that kind of player.

I used to live in Cleveland in 2007 when they drafted this one kid from Notre Dame who was all hype in the first round. I forget his name but they had him in subway, gatorade and 5 hour energy commercial and when he finally got to play it was like he was getting paid per 3 and out.

Simple solution Denver, trade him to the Dolphins instead of Orton, They worship the guy down their so you should be abled to shake down the Dolphins for draft picks just because Dolphins management will want to save face with their fan base and it’s not like Chad Henne is lighting things up down there.

Look bottom line is if the people who get paid to know and understand this game don’t think the kid can play then that’s all that matters.

He has film as a starter and he’s had two preseasons to show that he can play at this level and if there is talk about cutting him then he clearly must be doing something that is obvious that he’ isn’t gonna put it all together cause why else wouldn’t they want the kid to play?

He’ll get cut, he’ll get picked up, he’ll get cut again and then he’ll go coach somewhere.

If & when Tebow takes over they have to style the offense around him. By the way Quinn & Orton are both free agents at the end of the yr. If Orton or Quinn get an extension that will tell it all.

If Orton is having a solid year, there is no way Tebow sniffs the field except on ‘Wild Pony’ plays.

If Orton is having a solid year, there is no way Fox or the Broncos front office allow him to walk. If they can’t come to an agreement then they will franchise him.

Orton has played well the last two years despite the fact he had little support from the running game or the defense.

Unless he suffers a career threatening injury, Orton is the future of the Broncos at the quarterback position. Tebow needs to either learn another position or figure a way out of Denver.
