We’ve got two games on the docket Sunday night, including our NBC telecast at 8 p.m. ET. (We’ll have a simulcast of Cowboys-Chargers online as well.)

Here’s what we’re looking for in both games.

Bengals @ Jets

The Bengals would love it if rookie quarterback Andy Dalton can show some progress after a rough outing last week. ... We’d love it if he can feature rookie wideout A.J. Green down the field more. The kid has looked great in camp. ... Tight end Jermaine Gresham is active in a mild surprise. The Bengals starters will play an entire half.

The Jets debut Plaxico Burress, but wideout Derrick Mason and running back Shonne Greene will sit this one out. ... Second year offensive linemen Vladimir Ducasse tries to rebound from a rough start to the preseason. New York’s o-line depth looks shaky.

Chargers @ Cowboys

Dallas’ younger, new-look offensive line will get more work together. Rookie guard Bill Nagy will get a chance to start ... Cornerback Orlando Scandrick could push for a starting job with Terence Newman and Mike Jenkins out.

The Chargers don’t have a lot of positions up for grabs, which is a good sign. ... Antonio Gates will likely sit out for the Chargers despite practicing all week. ... Running back Ryan Mathews has steadily improved in camp and will try to prove he’s ready to start.
