Getty ImagesFormer North Carolina defensive end Michael McAdoo went unclaimed in the supplemental draft. But that doesn’t mean he won’t get a crack at the next level.
Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports that McAdoo has agreed to terms with the Ravens.
At six-foot-seven and 245 pounds (possibly while holding a couple of five-pound dumbbells), McAdoo needs to put on plenty of weight.
Then again, Jason Taylor has done well for himself at six-six and 244.
McAdoo was declared ineligible due to academic fraud. And yet the NFL didn’t feel compelled to bar him from immediate entry into the league.

After the CBA negotiating tactics, fraud isn’t held against players, owners, or lawyers.
McAdoo wasn’t allowed to play at all last season and has already served a punishment befitting his violation. Maybe Pryor can pose in Playgirl and you can stop whining about him.
He needs to put on weight?
Just don’t let him within 100 miles of Aaron Maybin.
He’s 6’6 from what I understand and he’s a tad bigger than Jarvis Moss was when he was drafted in the 1st round a few years back.
Also, it was reported by other news outlets that Caleb King signed with the Lions.
Oops, meant King was taken by the Vikings. Wrong team, right division. I just pulled a Rosenthal.
I didn’t realize Jason Taylor was so light. Just goes to show that guys who don’t fit the “ideal” size profile for a position can still make a big impact.
who???
low-risk, high-reward for the Ravens..i like the move
Typical Goodell double-standard; he only imposes punishment when he believes the media wants him to impose it.
