Rosenthal takes the PFT Live reins today

With Peter King comparing Peyton Manning to Lou Gehrig during halftime of Sunday night’s Chargers-Colts game, I couldn’t help but wonder whether I’ll be the next Wally Pipp.

For the first time ever, I’m passing the PFT Live baton to Rosenthal, who’ll handle the duties today while I make my way back from New York.  (During the season, I’ll be in Stamford, Connecticut — clap, clap, clap-clap-clap — on Mondays to do the show.)

Rosenthal, whose first-day-of-school haircut already is growing out nicely, will be joined by Redskins running back Tim Hightower, Tom Curran of CSN New England, and Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald.

It’s too bad he’s not taking calls today.  I could have “Baba Booeyed” him.

The show gets rolling at 12:00 p.m. ET.  Have a great show, Rosey.

But not too great.
