Anyway, getting Pryor in the sup draft gives him a jumpstart on training for the 2012 season. Jackson and Saunders can teach him the ropes until then.

Are you stupid? He was saying that Pryor should have been there before Monday (or by Monday, whatever) b/c he doesn’t believe the supplemental draft should have ever been postponed and that Pryor should have been let in immediately without question (which is stupid in it’s own right). Not that he should have just moved to Cali immediately b/c the Raiders took him, jeez.

Tell me, who are the best QB’s in the league? Are you REALLY trying to tell me that Vick is even remotely close to being as good as those guys? They don’t have to be white, but they have to know how to throw a football well, move within the pocket, and learn the playbook better than anyone else on the team. Which is what Brady, Manning, Brees, and Rodgers do…Vick had a great season, but faltered late in the season and in the playoffs, he is what he is, and it’s not great, it’s just exciting at times, confusing others. Warren Moon was a great QB b/c he did those things you just said, Randall Cunningham was good too, they were black. But they knew their playbook, they could make ALL the throws (and by that I mean with accuracy). Donovan McNabb was good too, never great, but good – he was held back by his self entitlement and his ability to throw the ball directly into the ground too much.

A black QB could be just as good as any white QB, if they would learn to do the right things. Some do, many don’t. They want to run constantly, they typically don’t throw the ball as well or with the same accuracy, it is what it is…it’s the same as white RB’s, people are STILL down on Peyton Hillis, why? B/c he’s white, yet for some reason they want to give love to Cedric Benson for being a “workhorse.” Yeah, he can carry it 30 times a game, for about 3 yards at a time. But Hillis will always be disrespected by his skin color and b/c it is true, most good/great RB’s are black. Just like most good/great QB’s are white. Doesn’t mean their can’t be exceptions.

I guess you weren't at that game and are just going by your stereotypical violent raider hatred. If you were there, you'd know that it was almost all 49er on 49er violence or it was 4-5 49er fans jumping on one raider fan. One raider fan getting beaten close to death because he decided to wait for his girlfriend outside the bathroom. Not to mention, there were actually THREE shootings; the first one caught on youtube (but not reported in the news) was 49er on 49er (which immediately followed an all out 49er on 49er brawl between a bunch of 49er women fans) , and the second one after the game was by a 49er fan who shot a Raider fan in the face.

Aquaint yourself with the facts next time and quit playing up stereotypes.

I don’t even know why they are asking questions to Campbell in this nature, as if Pryor has any realistic chance of taking over for Campbell…not this year…not next year…not ever.

The issue to me is that he really struggled with Gradkowski behind him last year. Cable and a lot of Raider fans were enamoured with Gradkowski for some reason and this made Campbell uncomfortable. Once Gradkowski got hurt and he wasn’t looking over his shoulder, he improved. He’s got to be mentally tough enough to deal with this draft choice.

You’re right.. they all wanted him. But none of them were stupid enough to give up a 3rd rounder. They all wanted him, on their terms.
If they all WANTED him that badly, they could have easily gave up a top pick as well, those other teams knew better.

Are you crazy? He was supposed to buy an airplane ticket to the city whose team drafted him an hour after the draft? And move to Oakland with 2 hours notice?

I understand with the shortened offseason and him potentially playing QB that time is of the essence. But as a Raiders fan, I’m happy for him to celebrate with family and make arrangements to meet the team by the end of the week.
