Titans sign Kevin Curtis

kevin_curtis

Last year Kevin Curtis became one of the best stories in the NFL, returning to the field in December after surgery for testicular cancer in September. Now Curtis has his chance to return to the NFL for another season.

The Tennessee Titans announced this afternoon that they’ve signed Curtis. The Titans’ decision to sign an experienced veteran who could step in on short notice could be an indication that they’re expecting Kenny Britt to be suspended.

Last year Curtis played briefly for the Dolphins in the regular season and then was released and signed to play in a playoff game for the Chiefs.

The 33-year-old Curtis had his best season in 2007, when he started all 16 games for the Eagles and caught 77 passes for 1,110 yards.
