Kenny Britt won’t get suspended

Titans receiver Kenny Britt picked the right offseason to get arrested multiple times.

Judy Battista of the New York Times reports that Britt will face no discipline from the NFL following Britt’s meeting with Commissioner Roger Goodell this week.

The league seemed to reserve the right to suspend players for their actions during the lockout, but perhaps Goodell just brought Britt and Talib to New York this week to scare them straight.  (We doubt he used these guys.)

With Britt’s legal issues seemingly in the rearview mirror for now, he will have to focus on getting healthy. He hasn’t suited up in the preseason yet, and that won’t change Saturday night.

Now you can select him in your fantasy draft. He’ll work well with Hasselbeck.

Alrighty then…and now we await word when Parrish Cox will not be disciplined as well.

Even though it was almost a year ago…before the lockout…and there is DNA evidence…and it’s been proven without a Maury appearance that he be da baby daddy…and his own teammates are witnesses.

Damn, where’s a white Vick when we need him?

No worries… Britt will screw up soon enough to earn himself a suspension.

Arrested multiple times with no suspension? It’s a good thing he was arrested for and not simply ACCUSED of wrongdoing. Otherwise, Goodell would have brought down the hammer.

Yes, apparently accusations weigh more than actual arrests and charges in the NFL.

Lucky you aren’t a Steeler, pal, or you would be facing a six game suspension, with or without an arrest.

On the other hand, of course, you could be a Patriot, in which case Goodell wouldn’t even consider punishing you – even if you admitted to criminal acts in open court.

There should be a “turd watch” for Roger “GOD”dell’s (spelled wrong on purpose) ridiculous inconsistencies. I despise that man.
